"Heron' Cove is a great location with plenty of room for our family group of eight adults and four children under 10. We were in VA for our Son's wedding in Mineral, VA. The layout was perfect for our needs. We are already talking about a return trip. Fully equip kitchen (w/two refrigerators) made meals a breeze. Living room space on each floor and plenty of games/activities for the kids. The added bonus of lake accessories (kayaks and paddleboards) made for time well spent lakeside. Jay was...

"We needed a place close to my grandchildren, and this home did not disappoint. Very clean, with plenty of room inside and outdoors to host a family day and barbecue. Also, you do not feel like a renter, but as a guest. Shampoo, conditioner, body cream, toothpaste surprisingly provided! The owners are gracious and always available, if needed. We would love to make this rental our home away from home when visiting."

"Lovely cottage with nice outdoor space. The place was very clean, comfortable, quiet and inviting. Easy communication with host and very convenient to The Mill at Fine Creek where we attended a wedding. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The house and dock are amazing! The view and sunsets are top notch. There is a slight hill that will definitely get you to feel muscles you haven’t used all winter. We didn’t use the kayaks due to shoulder injury , but it’s there if wanted! The tv was a little strange as it’s mostly streaming. We don’t have that at my home, but it was fine. We will come back again."

"Home feels like a getaway, very cute and FASHION!"

"Beautiful location, clean property, very nice communication with property managers. We really enjoyed our stay. Only issue was the back door was very difficult to open and close and lock. Still a wonderful five star stay. "

"One of the best equipped kitchens in a rental house we have ever stayed in. The house is not close to a lot so a lot of driving is necessary if you want to see things beyond the property, we didnt mind though. We welcomed the quiet and silence for the week. We loved that our furry baby was allowed to come with. The outdoor spotlights did not do anything to provide light at night, that was our one complaint. Also that the pool light didnt work so we couldnt be in the wonderful pool after dark....

"This property was everything it advertised and the host was the best I have ever had the pleasure working with. Property is outstanding, clean, comfy, and ideally situated close to great restaurants and venues but feels completely isolated in the woods. We are trying to find a reason to come back to this part of the country again just to stay again at The GreenWood. Thanks Jen, for a wonderful time."

We came during a heavy snow and were able to enjoy a winter wonderland retreat -Trevor even assisted us getting in and out with our small vehicle. The snowy woods, along with the fire pit, hot tub, sauna and pizza oven made for a beautiful and memorable experience. We highly recommend this property to anyone that wishes to enjoy a splendid tiny home getaway. "

"I rented this charming octagonal shaped cabin in the beautiful woods of Manakin-Sabot Va. for my son, fiance, groomsmen, and bridesmaids to get ready for their wedding at nearby Deep Run Hunt Club. The guys watched football at snacked, while the girls did makeup and curled their hair. After the wedding on Saturday, it was nice for the limo to drop off the new bride and groom at thier honeymoon spot for the night!!"
