Fields at Alderton Grazing land to the south of Alderton, the village and the church can be seen in the middle distance. Alderton Hill, a Cotswold outlier can be seen in the background. The far side the hill is called Dumbleton Hill, it is also less widely known as Oak Hill. In the foreground is a sheep feeding trough.

The hotel was lovely but the swimming pool was small and there were children splashing around the who time so not very relaxing. The waitresses for the meals are not very efficient. The whole experience was one of great things from the booking to arrival to the stay. Extremely comfortable with everything you would need and lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Parking is a bonus in Cheltenham.
