Holiday home by the sea, on the north-weast coast of Sicily. It is on the main street of Alcamo Marina (Trapani), a seaside resort near the popular tourist town of Castellammare del Golfo.

The house is 40 meters far from the beach, with a view over the Gulf of Castellammare. It is on the first floor of a two-family house, with private entrance and private open air space and parking space. It is new and very bright, it has been recently renovated, all furniture is modern and all appliances are new. It is fully equipped, assuring you have everything you need, to feel at home away from home.
Two double bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other one with two possibilities: either a double bed or two single beds), living room with a sofa-bed, kitchen, one bathroom, one toilet, laundry room, a terrace on the back, a large balcony on the sea, where you can enjoy beautiful summer sunsets, private shower room with sink on the ground floor, useful on the return from the beach. 6 sleeps (4 + double sofa-bed in the living room); on request 1 additional single bed in one bedroom.

Alles wunderbar. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Super Ausblick. Tolle, große Wohnung mit allem, was man braucht. Leckere süße Leckereien in der Lovely Bar in der Nähe. Ansonsten wenig Gastronomie, aber dafür ausreichend im nahegelegenen Ort. Riesiger leerer Strand direkt vor der Haustür. Privatparkplatz mit Tor auf dem Grundstück.

Die Wohnung ist toll. Es war alles perfekt. Der Strand ist gegenüber und über einen Treppenübergang zu erreichen. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht und darüber hinaus. Urlaub Anfang September

Zentral gelegener Ausgangspunkt für Wandern, Besichtigungen und Strand. Gute Bar und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Sehr schöne und saubere Wohnung, gut ausgestattet. Eigener Stellplatz ist sehr gut. Alcamo und Castellammare sind sehr schöne Städtchen mit viel Leben. An den Verkehrslärm muss man sich anfangs gewöhnen.

Our best stay in Sicily so far

This is our 4th stop of several days during our Sicily trip, and has been by far the best. The house is just in front of the beach - amazing view and easy access to a several kilometer long beach. The house is very comfortable and clean. It is also an excellent location to visit the temples of Segueste/Selinunte, Trapani/Erice, the salt road near Masala, or Palermo. The host is also very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Tolle Woche mit bester Aussicht

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in der Wohnung von Guiseppe. Der Empfang war sehr gut und seine Tochter hat uns alles gezeigt. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und modern. Der Blick vom Balkon natürlich auch traumhaft. Man kann zu Fuß zum Café und auch zum Restaurant. Wir können die Wohnung jedem empfehlen.

This is one of the best VRBO apartments we have stayed in. Spacious, beautiful design, great amenities, two balconies - one of them overlooking the beach across the street. (Unlike many beaches in Italy, this is a free public beach, and there is a separate beach shower near the entry gate.) Very clean. Everything worked perfectly. Gated private parking area. Fabulous supermarket just ten minutes away by car. Lots of great restaurants within 10-minute drive. Lo Zingaro nature preserve just a 20-minute drive away.

A perfect spot to discover North-West of Sicily

First, Caterina and Giuseppe's welcome was warm and the explanations about the equipment of the apartment very complete. The apartment is top level. Caterina and Giuseppe provided us informations about places to visit and restaurants to try. We thank them for that too. Olivier and I have had a wonderful time there. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und bestens ausgestattet, sogar für Strandausrüstung ist gesorgt. Es ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist die Straße zwischen Haus und Strand - ist aber in der Beschreibung genannt. Die Fenster im Haus sind aber sehr gut isoliert. Der dortige Naturstrand ( Sand ) ist hervorragend für Kinder geeignet, da es sehr flach ins Wasser geht. Diese Wohnung kann man nur empfehlen.

Soddisfatto di aver scelto Alcamo per il mio stile di vacanza, attraversando la strada c'è uma spiaggia libera, camminando sul litorale ci sono zone atrezzate con chiosco e lettini. Punto strategico x chi vuole visitare siti, calette, autostrada raggiingibile in pochi minuti. I proprietari sempre disponibili, appartamento pulitissimo, imteramente restrutturato con tutti i confort e mi permeto di dire.... La palazzina su 2 piani più bella del lungomare di Alcamo. Ristorante con prezzi modici a 200m,macelleria, bar, supermercato a piedi o raggiungibili in pochi minuti con la macchina. Soddisfatto, grazie Giuseppe

A very pleasant stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful apartment. Our host was very friendly, she waited for us at our arrival and showed us around the apartment. In case of questions she was available and she provided us with useful tips regarding spots to visit.The apartment was very clean and everything needed was available. The pictures shown on the internet are realistic, we even think the apartment is larger and more beautiful than shown on the internet. The nice beach is just across the street and perfectly suitable for children. Unfortunately, there are only very few shops and restaurants close to the apartment, but everything needed (like some supermarkets) are reachable by car within 10 minutes. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Caterina und Guiseppe haben uns ausgesprochen freundlich in ihrem schönen Appartment empfangen. Die Wohnung ist so wie auf den Fotos zu sehen - sehr schön, modern und gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet und hell. Unsere Gastgeber versorgten uns darüberhinaus mit einer Reihe toller Vorschläge für lohnende Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Ein super tolles Apartment

Der Kontakt mit Guiseppe und Katarina war super 👍 die Wohnung war sowas von top👌 Absolut super sauber! Es ist alles da was man braucht, sogar Handtücher und auch genug Strandtücher, Liege und Stühle für den Strand und sogar Strandspielzeug für Kinder 👍 man hat einen Stellplatz für das Auto und das Grundstück ist gut gesichert mit einem automatischen Tor. Zum Strand kommt man über eine Treppe über die Bahnschienen auf der anderen Straßenseite. Das italienische Restaurant „John’s Pizza“ ist 60 Meter entfernt und absolut zu empfehlen! Das einzige was nicht so toll war, ist der Müll der überall an der Straße liegt, aber das ist dort fast überall so.

authentic beach town

Caterina and Guiseppe were very responsive and helpful hosts. This apartment is very high quality, comfortable and quiet (despite the train which wasn't a problem). Very pretty beach and a few cafes and bars. This is a great stay if you want an authentic Italian beach town without alot of tourists. I give it 5 stars but the litter and heaps of rubbage throughout the streets and beach are sad to see. Zingaro hike is pristine and a must do. We also highly enjoyed Segeste and the tram to Erice. Thank you Caterina and Giuseppe for a wonderful 5 night stay!

Schönes Appartement, perfekte Gastgeber, Meerblick

Bei unserem Aufenthalt im November hatten wir einige heftige Regengüsse und tageweise stürmisches Wetter, insofern waren wir sehr froh über die gute Ausstattung des Appartements. Es ist alles, wie beschrieben und wie auf den Fotos zu sehen und in Topzustand, Giuseppe und Caterina sind perfekte Gastgeber, die Kommunikation auf Englisch funktionierte gut, sowohl persönlich als auch über WhatsApp. Wir wurden am Ankunftstag sehr nett empfangen und alles wurde ausführlich erklärt. Bei allen Fragen während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde uns immer sofort und gut geholfen. Die Lage ist gut, man ist mit dem Auto in 30 Minuten am Flughafen, in 5 Minuten an der Autobahn, um den Nordwesten der Insel zu erkunden. Strand und Meer sind vor der Haustüre, weitere schöne Strände und Buchten gibt es in der Nähe. 50 m entfernt gibt es John Pizza, ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant, mit klassischer italienischer und sizilianischer Küche. Ein gut sortierter Supermarkt (Deco) ist in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Castellamare del Golfo ist ein schönes Fischerstädtchen und nur 6 km entfernt. Bedingt durch die späte Reisezeit hatten wir eine sehr ruhige Zeit und die Strände fast für uns alleine. Wer etwas mehr Trubel wünscht kommt früher im Jahr hier aber sicher auch auf seine Kosten. Sofern man nicht mit eigenem Auto anreist ist ein Mietwagen unbedingt zu empfehlen. Danke nochmals an Caterina und Giuseppe Catalano :-)

Helle, freundliche, gut ausgestattete Wohnung

Die Buchung der Wohnung bzw. die Kommunikation über Mail und/oder Telefon mit dem Gastgeber war unkompliziert, freundlich und schnell. Die Gastgeber sind super nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, hell eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet und hat uns einen bequemen Aufenthalt beschert.

Very nice, spacious and well equipped apartment

The apartment is very spacious with two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an extra laundry room, big and fabulous equipped kitchen, a spacious living/dining room and a terrace as well as a balcony. Beach Loungers and umbrella for the beach are also free to use. All you need for a great stay: you'll find it there. The apartment is located directly next to the beach. You can see the beach from the balcony as well from the front-bedroom. You just have to cross the street. But the street is not like a small street at the beach - it is literally the main street with lots of traffic. To access the beach you also have to cross the railroad on an elevated crossing (lots of stairs). The train comes only 10 times per day. But the first one at 5am and with it's diesel engine it is super loud. The beach itself is very nice. A very long bay with beautiful white sand. And no people around in the end of September. It's not a typical Italian beach with Lido after Lido only. You must bring your own beach loungers. There are a few Lidos in Alcama Marina and Castellamare, but you will need a car to get there. We had a very nice welcome from Giuseppe und Caterina. They are very nice hosts and helped us with precious recommendations what to do, where to go, where to eat. For example the street market in Alcamo, which was very nice. After travelling for 2 weeks around Sicily it was the perfect place to relax for some days.
