Newer house built in 2010, this is the perfect home away from home! Nestled in the Poconos, just 3 miles off exit 87 of the PA turnpike, you can unplug and enjoy nature’s peace and quiet yet enjoy all the nearest attractions! The house is located just minutes from Lake Harmony, Jack Frost & Big Boulder. The community has plenty to offer for summer activities with close access to its own large beautiful lake Towamensing which also has a pool and a beach!

3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a great open living space, this home will bring you nothing but smiles and natural light.

Other house amenities to enjoy include a game room, hot tub and a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom!

Piced this place as a home base for my hubby and I. We’ve never been to the area before and this was a perfect location. The house itself is big enough if you have a larger party to not feel cramped. We didn’t use the basement but the pool table and basketball net would be fun for kids and adults. This was more of an excursion weekend so we also didn’t cook so I can’t speak on pots/pans (didn’t even look for them). Fridge was nice and large so you can fill it for a larger party. We did use the hot tub which is a nice addition. If you do use it and like the water hotter than 90, just understand it does take time to heat up. Would return and recommend this place.

This home was clean, cozy and accurate to the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fireplace in the living area was a nice touch. Master bedroom was spacious and private and the game room downstairs was perfect for our group of adults. A couple of things to note - house rules include bringing the trash to a separate location in the community at the end of your stay with a 50 penalty if you leave it in the house. Also bring your own blow dryer and soaps for the shower.

This was our second stay, and we've been happy with everything both times. It was warmer this year so we got to spend a day at the lake with the kids, they had a blast. The water is so clear, and the beach was clean and not crowded. We also did some short, kid-friendly hikes in Hickory Run: Boulder Field and Hawk Falls. This is a great place for families.

Summertime memories

The house was great. The kids had fun with all the games and hot tub. The adults had fun with the hot tub. The house was beautiful. The community is fantastic. I would love to cone back next year. The kids didnt want to leave.

Fantastic Family Getaway

The Chalet is exactly as advertised and more! The hosts thought of everything a family would need from a fully-stocked kitchen to luxurious towel sets for all guests. The kids enjoyed the games, going to the pool and lake while also exploring other local trails and attractions. Thanks, Chris & Angela, for being so responsive and providing us with a great home away from home!

Ski weekend

We loved our stay. My husband and I loved our private master room and bathroom upstairs. The Floorplan was perfect so kids could hand in basement which was very well-appointed. They played pool and basketball down there and felt like they had their own getaway. Hot tub was wond. Great getaway

Our family really enjoyed this home! Everything was as expected and the house offers such a warm feel to it. The basement was perfect for our teen who loves playing basketball along with board games. This home is the perfect getaway and our family loves it so much that we will likely book again in the summer months.

Lovely Home

the home was comfortable and beautifully decorated, very simple with plenty of room to easily store our belongings. kitchen was fully stocked with coffee maker, microwave and plenty of dinnerware and pots and pans. would stay here again....location is excellent and very peaceful and quiet.
