"If I could give more stars I would! This is a total experience. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. They are so happy to share their piece of paradise with others. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Birders, this is located in the bog with great birds waiting right outside your door! Walk down to the bridge and watch herons and beavers near the Whiteface River."

"The property itself was beautiful- Hunter was a great host. AC had a slight leak in the master but he was quick to communicate with me when I found it. The kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub, game room and every other feature we could use we did (except the boat). My hubby and I will be back on our own for a weekend hideaway! I may have forgotten one of our life jackets there "

"Check in was a breeze. The weather has been hot and it was so nice that the air had been in so we came into a very comfortable temp. The property was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. The bird life was very entertaining and beautiful outdoors. The fire pit area was lovely. There was a paddle boat, kayak and canoe available for use. Life jackets were readily available. Close and convenient to Duluth. Check out was convenient. A really pretty and private setting! Wish we could...

"Such a peaceful place. Quiet despite nearby trains, you can't really hear them inside. Comfortable living spaces and beds, large kitchen, nice deck. Definitely would stay here again!!"

"Amazing property and great experience overall! Roxie and Kelly are exceptional hosts and we cannot recommend them enough. The house has everything you could need, is exceptionally clean and well equipped for a family vacation. Check in was easy and everything was ready for us when we arrived, the kitchen and the rest of the house is fully equipped even if you forget something, you don’t have to worry as it will most likely be available for you to use from plates to coffee, it’s all there. "

"We wanted to take a quick weekend trip to Duluth and we found this cabin. We loved it! Our dog came with and made friends with the neighbor’s dog. The lake was beautiful and we loved walking down the gravel street! The owner and maintenance person responded very quickly."

"The house is very clean, even with allowing pets. I appreciate that. We had an issue at check-in but it was dealt with immediately. The owners are extremely committed to making your stay the best it can be. The river was up, so it wasn't conducive to kayaking. It went down half way through the week, but we didn't try again. We spent time on the North Shore and explored the state parks. The deck over the river was a great spot for relaxing. The bed is so comfortable. "

"My wife and I stayed with our son over the Easter weekend. The cabin is clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is everything you need to cook all 3 meals a day there if you wanted. The lake is only about 50 feet from the door. Sadly, it was still early in the season so it was too chilly for us to play in the lake, but I bet it's really nice in the summer. "

"I was up here with my coworkers for Mission of Mercy. We had a few issues come up a couple of days before our stay, but Shannon called us and told us about them and had them fixed as soon as she could. It was a great place to stay and would stay here again in the future."
