"We got to stay in the upgraded condos! They were beautiful! I had never stayed in the A and B side! Each of one of us had basically an apartment to ourselves. "

"Fabulous little place! Has pools ourside and 1 inside with a hot tub. The beds are super comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the beach was a bit of a walk at 2.5 blocks. And you had to cross 4 lanes of bust traffic during the day. At night it was not an issue as much. I think there needs to a crosswalk put in to help with crossing the road safely. "

"Great house and location for a beach vacation"

"Unit was great - no issues. Very responsive communications from the owner. You can walk right out onto the beach which was nice. Location is in southern Nag's Hed which faciliates getting to the Hatteras National Park and Manteo."

"We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The cottage was just the perfect size and had all the amenities that you needed including a full kitchen. The hosts, Vicki and Blake, were super nice and quick to respond to our needs. The beach was only a couple blocks away which made it convenient and driving on the beach in our Jeep was a blast. Wildlife to include wild horses and deer are everywhere, even had a couple of black horses visit the cottage grounds. I highly recommend choosing this...

"The location and comfort of this home is everything OBX. The spaces are comfortable, the amentities sufficient, the response form the owner was quick. The pool is in a great location for keeping sand out of it! The hot tub overlooks the dune for early morning sun rise soaks. We had a wonderful time and experience in this property."

"This was our first time on the 4X4 Beach and we are in love with the area. We found this house by a drive by the year prior. We read the reviews and booked the house. To be honest we were a little nervous as we have never used VRBO before. We could not have been happier with the host as she answered our questions quickly and politely. She was accommodating and understanding to our needs. The house was the cleanest we have ever experienced as we have been vacationing in OBX for 25 years. ...

"Check-in was extremely easy and the host messaged us that our unit was left unlocked for us, just before we arrived. He let us check in about 30 minutes early upon our arrival, which I appreciated so much being that we had a 5 week old newborn with us. The cottage was as described and very clean. "Great family vacation house! We are a family of 10 and we all loved this house and would definitely stay there again. Loved that you just walked across the street and you were on the beach, pool and hot tub were enjoyed every day! Bathroom in every bedroom and extra one by the pool. Outside shower was a plus. Ice machines are another plus.Nice yard, corn hole games every day, and plenty of room to throw the football.The house had everything we needed, and was very clean! Also was so nicely...
