Set on the hillside in the pretty town of Alassio, 10 minutes from the sea, this recently renovated apartment for 8, makes an ideal summer retreat for friends or a family. The flat is full on sunlight but is breezy thanks to its position above the coast. It is an excellent base for people who are looking to relax on a beach and enjoy everything this much-loved resort has to offer.

The open plan living area has double French windows which lead out on to a shaded balcony with a glorious view of the sea. There is a table and chairs outside where guests can enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink whilst relaxing and enjoying the sea air. Indoors, there is a comfortable sofa bed, flatscreen TV and dining table with chairs. The room is decorated with an attractive mix of furniture. The fitted kitchen, just off the living area, is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and Italian coffee machine.

Below the apartment is a shared terrace and shared garden. Private steps lead down towards the main town and the beach.

Bedroom 1: The corner master bedroom also has stunning sea views. It is furnished with a double bed and wardrobe plus some interesting antiques including a painted dresser and a dressing table.
Bedroom 2: This cosy room has 2 bunk beds, a wardrobe and a desk.

Location
The property is in a quiet location, but close to the center of Alassio. There are restaurants, shops and supermarkets near by. Alassio is a well-known seaside resort that has welcomed travellers for centuries. The promenade, along the sandy beaches, is perfect for taking a stroll or dining in one of the restaurants on the seafront.

The pedestrian centre of Alassio, called \"Budello\" (30 minute walk) is unmissable. Another place to visit is the Muretto di Alassio (20 minute walk) where there are more than 550 plaques with the signatures of various celebrities including Ernest Hemingway, stars such as Jean Cocteau and many famous actors and singers.

Visitors can also explore the Côte d\'Azur, which makes a perfect day trip.

The closest airport is at Genoa, a 1 hour and 10 minute drive from the house.
