"It was perfect for me due to my requirements. The host replied quickly to any questions I had during my stay. This was much better than I expected and for our filming requirements. 10-15 minutes to airport, 45 minutes to Poasito, 2 hours to Jaco. It was like a home away from home."

"Overall I’m very pleased. While being centrally downtown, there is easy access to banks, museums, parks and a wide choice of food! The only issues were figuring out where the light switches were, getting the shower to turn on and the traffic noise levels. Regardless it’s a great value and I’m headed back there in a few weeks! ¡Pura Vida!"

"Extremely good value for the price. It was clean and the beds were comfy.The only difficulty we had was finding the place. There is no civic numbers like in the US or Canada or numbers so it is difficult to find a house. Then there is locks everywhere and at night is very difficult to find the padlocks."

"We had issue getting into the place at first but it was solved pretty quickly. There's a guard 24/7 at the gate. It is within walking distance of the mall and restaurants. The kids have individual room and they have their own bathroom. We rented a but we also did a lot of walking around the area when we just wanted to grab something to eat or go to the mall. "

"Youre right next to downtown alajuela, so everything is nearby. The cathedral, park, and market are all great places to visit. Great property, lots of light. The kitchen has everything but an oven, so you can bring food from the market and whip something up. It's true it's noisy but you're downtown, what can you expect? Bring noise cancelling headphones and do some people watching from the balcony. It's good."

"This house was in a great location, check in was horrible the one in charge at the gate was completly lost he didn't know we were going to that house , we had to wait like 20-25 minutes untill he was able to get in contact with the owners to let us in. The house was spacious , but the cleaners of the house was bad, there were stains on the sheets, bugs and even on one of the bed covers there was poop of an animal or something . I wouldn't stay here again. "

"We visited this property for two nights as a group of 11 women working on our personal growth. The house was perfectly suited to our needs and had just the right amount of space for all of us to spend time together as a group. "We rented this property because it is large, (there were five of us travelling), is close to the airport and we didn't want to drive far after a late night flight. It said it was three bedrooms and could sleep six. After booking, I was told that there would be an extra guest fee for each person over 2. I told him that the ad did not say that and that we wanted to cancel because the ad was misleading. He eventually waived the fee, but then told me that there would only be two bedrooms available...
