This lake home provides the perfect setting for a family or several couples to take in fun filled days, relaxing evenings by the campfire, watching the sunset on Mow Lake. The Log house has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by the stunning natural log design that creates a cozy cabin atmosphere. On the main floor you will find 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds in each rooms and one full bathroom. Dining room and kitchen have everything you'll need to enjoy the incredible views of this one of a kind log home. Enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast at the spacious kitchen table while admiring the birches and pines that surround the property. In the basement you will find additional 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds, 2 additional queen sized futons to accommodate extra people and a full bathroom. The space also features a beautiful natural wood fireplace and a billiards table, perfect for spending quality time with family, kids, or friends.

This property is in a very peaceful location and is in close proximity to a wide variety of activities. We chose to explore Walker and stay at the property to enjoy time together. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Girls Get-Away

We had such a great time at the cabin! Great spot and lake access for paddle boarding and canoeing. Lake access had Lilly pads so you had to go out about 15feet to swim in clear water but that was perfect for us! Only 20-30 minutes from Park Rapids for a night out. Would definitely go back again!

Cozy and well located

The cabin is very cozy and located near various lakes. The owners were very quick to respond to questions and the property was well put in order when we arrived. I’d stay here again!

Family get-away

We had the best time - a wonderful place to have a family get away. Check-in was exceptionally smooth, the kitchen had everything we needed and Wi-fi worked well (my daughter even had a couple virtual client meetings on-site). Lake access with kayaks and a dock, ping-pong, billiards, smart TV, Fire Pit, all within close proximity of Park Rapids, shopping, and Heartland Trail for biking. We took advantage of all of that and had a great time. Thank You! Excellent Hosts!

We had a wonderful time! So much to do in the area, we went on the side by side trails, rode our bikes on the Heartland trail to Walker took our pups on a nice walk. The property was beautiful and well maintained. But be sure to have all the groceries that you need because the grocery stores are aways. Thank you for a great timeThe Helgemoes

The property was perfect for our family group. It was well equipped and instructions were clear. It was great to have 4 private bedrooms. The lake was perfect for fishing off the dock, but not a place to swim. Our only disappointment was that a sauna was pictured and we learned it is only available in the winter. Setting is idyllic.

Clean and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay and the well appointed kitchen. We cooked all of our meals and did not need any other kitchen equipment than what was already available. And the pool table in the basement was a blast!

Great getaway

We had a great stay, plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing! We wish we would have known to bring a kayak or something for the kids to use. Other than that every time we reached out the host was very responsive!

Peaceful weekend

This was a nice place. Nice bedrooms. The beds were a little hard for our old bodies but still nice. The blinds on both patio doors were broken so i didn't want to mess with them much. We could still go in and out the upstairs patio door because that blind was open. It was nice and peaceful. My grandson who just turned 5 came over for a couple hours and he had fun fishing on the dock. We managed to find places to go to eat. We had a nice relaxing time.

I selected Cozy Cabin because we were having a family reunion in Park Rapids.

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Reasonably priced, very spacious. Exceeded expectations. Rental host was very responsive and answered all questions very timely. Thank you. Wished we could’ve spent more time at the cabin. I guess we planned too many reunion activities in Park Rapids. We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit. I will definitely rent Cozy Cabin again, if the opportunity arises.

Quiet & Comfortable

Very clean and well kept home! I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and really appreciate a thoroughly cleaned home. Not a deal breaker, but we did bring our own coffee maker, since the only one provided was a Nespresso, which the pods are spendier and harder to find. A later check out time would be nice. Most places are 11am, but I understand the cleaning staff, may have more than one place to clean. We hung around outside after check out time and held up the cleaning staff, sorry about that! It was very kind of them to wait and not disturb us. Kristina was very kind and responded quickly to my questions. I would recommend and stay here again! Rodeo Fans

Nice property

The home is just as it appears in the photos. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for 6 adults and a teenager. A second refrigerator would've been helpful. The property is on a lake, however, there is no public access for boats, only kayaks. I specifically asked before renting the home if we'd be able to launch our boat and keep it at the property's dock. I was told that should be possible, but even if we had been able to launch our small fishing boat, the water level at the dock is only about 2 feet deep. That was a huge disappointment! Had we known this we wouldn't have rented this property, simply because that's what we enjoy doing on vacation. The lake is a pretty view from the house and deck, but getting on the lake and fishing isn't an option for non-residents. The property is conveniently located a short drive off the highway and within half an hour's drive of larger towns like Walker and Park Rapids. It is very quiet and peaceful. We never heard or saw any neighbors. If you're looking for a quiet retreat this place is perfect!

A Long Weekend on Mow Lake

The location was peaceful and the lake was calm, perfect for kayaking for novices like us. We enjoyed the bonfire area and appreciated the firewood being provided for us. We really appreciated that the cleaning requirements for checkout were minimal. (Some places we have stayed in have had us clean so much that we wondered why they had a cleaning service!)

Very accommodating for families.

Accommodated our family of 12 very comfortably! The cabin is very comfortable with air conditioning, and the layout was convenient. With two full bathrooms, large supply of dishes, silverware, glasses, and a dishwasher, we didn’t run short for any meals. A very well appointed kitchen was great for making great meals! Everything we needed from dishwashing liquid to towels, to soap was supplied. We enjoyed the fire pit and didn’t need to apply bug spray at all! Though the lake is small, it is great for kayaking and paddle boarding. The deck made for easy entry into the water. Would’ve liked a sandy beach, but the Lilly pad flowers were pretty! The host responded quickly to questions and we enjoyed our stay!
