"This place was huge and quiet"

"The house was great. The location is great. Next to lots of eating establishments. Near 2 banks (ATMs). Near the Lake Chapala Society, all within 5 or 6 blocks. The neighbors and neighborhood are so friendly and kind. The host was on it. When we needed anything, he made sure his on call maintenance guy was there. Not sure how he did this in Mexico but the guy was here within 1 or 2 hours even on a Sunday. Love the place and the host. So sad to leave. "

"This was a lovely spot and staff were nearly always immediately available to help (make sure you have What’s App on your phone). We had a little trouble getting to it initially, as Ocampo is a one way street. It’s helpful to know to access it from the Carreterra (main highway) by turning left - towards the lake- on Rio Bravo, then left onto Ocampo. Ideal for one or two people.It is older construction and there's no A/C, but Joel has provided a fan for those warm afternoons.It's about a 5-10 minute walk down to the carretera, For a long stay, you'll probably want some wheels: bus, bike rental, and rideshare apps all work well.There's no clothes dryer, but the host provides a rack to set your clothes outside to dry if you wish.I really liked...
