Welcome to Beach Side.

As the name suggests this large 5 bedroom house is located on the ocean side of the Great Ocean Road. A short walk to to the beach, cliff top walks, shops and tennis courts.

As well as the main living area there is a sitting area for those wanting a quiet area to relax with a good book. Ducted air con throughout the house, a Rinnai reverse cycle split system in the main room and two smart TVs. Well equipped kitchen with a brand new Multipurpose Electric Cooker. There is a furnished outdoor deck area and a BBQ. This house is pet friendly and is fully fenced.

If you need a holiday where you can park the car and walk to all amenities then this is the right property.

Just a few general words about the property.

It is important to understand this property is a holiday rental, not a shared space or principle place of residence, which ensures you privacy and quiet enjoyment. It is also professionally managed, giving you peace of mind of 24/7 support by a local, just around the corner.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.

Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.

All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

Great getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Other reviews said the property was dirty but we didn't find this to be the case. It's perfect for families or a group of friends. There are two doors on either side of the main living space which can be shut to block out noise from the bedrooms, which is a bonus if travelling with young kids. Great location - the Aireys pub and shops are walking distance, as is a small beach. Great value for money. Would recommend.

Don't be fooled by the photos!

Let's start with some positives. This was advertised as dog friendly accommodation, hence why we chose it, and it was fully fenced and secure. It was within easy walking distance to the beach and shops which was great. Unfortunately, the place was filthy, the kitchen, the bathrooms, the couches in the lounge area! The entire house needed a thorough and deep clean, not just a cleaner with a mop and broom! It was extremely disappointing. When I advised the agent they were extremely apologetic and said their cleaner is usually very good. That may be the case however I'm not sure the last time they attended the property. There was dried poo in the toilet, not to mention the muck on the seats, the dust was thick throughout the house, the couches in the lounge area were dirty and had stains on them and the microwave was filthy! The pots and pans all need to be thrown out, and the whole house needs a thorough and deep clean. I sent the agent photos and videos and they said they would advise the owners, and seek some sort of refund even if it was for a night, which was very kind of them. As expected, I haven't heard anything nor received any refund. Regardless of the aforementioned I would still be providing the same review to warn others. I just want everyone to be advised - Don't be fooled by the photos!

Lovely cosy home

Spacious rooms, nice library collection of books and boardgames. Lots of outdoor enclosed space for our dog. Very close to beach walks. Excellent communication with the owner. Would suggest allowance of early check-in 12-1pm instead of 3pm. Rak

70th Birthday celebration

This property is in a great position, an easy walk to the General Store and the Aireys’ Pub. The house is very well equiped , the living area was great for our party of 6. Our only concern was that the house needs a thorough clean. We had to sweep dust up and clear cobwebs ☹️

Very happy with our stay and would definitely like to book again.

Very positive, the age of the home plus the variety of aged appliances makes the home feel like a home, imperfections is the difference between a Hotel and a home.

Great location and good set up for 2 families

Well set out house for two families with lots of space. Great location- close to shops and beach. We would have liked it to be cleaner and have instructions on the heating. Hot water was limited. Property managers were so friendly and welcoming. We loved the bonus birdlife.
