"Everything about the stay was amazing. Directions to the cabin were perfect, they left some really yummy huckleberry bread for us, the instructions for the hot tub were perfect. Ruth and Scott gave us plenty of privacy, but responded to our messages and texts promptly! The cabin itself was super cozy… we watched movies (even got the DVD player working!), had romantic meals by the fireplace, played some games, went out to explore the island and nearby yarn store, and walked around the property...

"Our stay was excellent! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The homemade bread she baked and left for us was amazing! The location was convenient and peaceful, making it easy to relax and enjoy the area. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay — We will definitely book again!"

"We had a wonderful stay for our anniversary. Despite the stormy weather we found it so cozy and relaxing. The view was beautiful. Everything was clean and the kitchen stocked with our basic needs. Jennelle was so kind to even purchase a pizza stone for us to use since we brought makings for homemade pizza on the BBQ. She was extremely quick to respond to our messages and friendly. We saw multiple deer and a bald eagle. One of our favorite getaway stays to date!"

"We had a wonderful time at this property! Our annual mushroom hunting trip to the area. You can tell the host took time to decorate the place, lots of big and small details that remind you of home. "A forest oasis! Private , charming and a very walkable property near lots of trails and Penrose Park. We had cousins who all lived nearby so we were able to comfortably visit (5 of us) a couple of time. We will definitely return!"
