We had fantastic communication from our host. Unfortunately due to a storm and a big tree that damaged the house prior to our stay we were not able to enjoy this beautiful property. We do hope to in the future though.

Deck was lovely to enjoy morning coffee. Dock is in shallow water at back of cove. Kitchen was wonky- dishwasher needs attention. Pictures make it look better than it is. Lower level game room has short ceilings- clearly meant for kids- our 6’7” guest could only stand upright in one small portion - the ceiling was sloped. Regardless, our family had a good time together at the lake!!

We had 11 people. Aged 14-76. It’s a great house. Owners have put great care into their vacation home and made sure about everything a vacationer may need is available. It was a very comfortable stay. Thank you Brandon and family.

We have an annual get together with friends at Grand lake & our normal house was not available so we decided to give this one a shot due to the gorgeous pictures. Upon arrival, our code did not work to get into the house. We snooped around & luckily the back door was unlocked, despite that being a little concerning. The owner was notified & generated us a new code. There is not enough parking for the advertised 14 people house, especially if you have a boat trailer. The house itself, was disappointing. The pictures are beautiful but the house & the neighborhood are rough considering the HEFTY price you get charged. There were dead bugs everywhere, even on the bathroom counters as if they weren’t wiped down. There were bug traps under beds & in corners that were loaded with dead spiders, those should have been replaced in the cleaning before we arrived. In the master room, water runs behind the shower & there was mold growing in the closet due to this. Owner was notified, although response was not professional. There was a chunk of hair in 1 of the full size beds, in the sheets. You have to have lots of strength to pry open the old kitchen cabinets & no filtered water or ice, not even ice trays to make ice. The dock is extremely unstable and the cove is disgusting. This house worked for a place to lay our heads at night, but the pictures and description are highly exaggerated. We would not recommend this house unless the price is significantly dropped & the cleaning improves.

Brandon’s lake house was spectacular! The house is large and had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family. The house is clean, and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable! When my family arrived the owner’s had placed a bottle of wine with a thank you card and a board game for our family to enjoy! A very personable and thoughtful touch! The back patio has beautiful views of the lake and Shangri-La golf course. The back patio is perfect for grilling and sitting by the fire pit making s’mores with your family! The dock is wonderful to fish and swim off of. The local marina is in the next cove! The owners have truly thought of everything to make your stay perfect! Brandon, the owner, is very kind and responsive! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Brandon, for a wonderful stay!

We frequent Grand Lake often. Of the many homes we’ve rented, this one ranks among the top. The location is great, just up the peninsula with easy water or road access to shangri La. Tucked in the back of the cove, the dock gives plenty of protection from the rough main channel waters (if you’re taking a boat). Our favorite part was the large windows over looking the cove and beautiful trees (and amazing patio). Our son LOVED downstairs, the games (mini golf, darts, and foosball. The mini old school Nintendo was a major plus! Host, Brandon, was very responsive. Check in was simple. We had no issues but I’m confident had we, Brandon would have been on top of it. We will BE BACK!

Just enjoyed hanging out with our adult kids for a few days. Property as advertised generally in good shape. Two of the bathrooms are really small, but we managed. Only issue encountered during the visit was promptly remedied by the owner. Overall a good experience.

Very nice home that accommodated a large group for a weekend getaway. Quiet & Peaceful area for walking and within minutes to a marina for boat and jet ski rentals. The water was low and since the home sits at the end of a culvert cove, we could not bring a boat within the area of the home's dock. It might be that way all the time since it is at the very point of the cove, so plan ahead, you may want to rent a slip. Wonderful hosts that are very quick to respond and helpful with suggestions! Thanks for a great stay!
