Get Busy Livin! Grand Lake Waterfront

Charming 3-bedroom waterfront home on Monkey Island next to Shangri La Resort. Sitting on a private 1 acre lot with plenty of room and privacy. Beautifully appointed with everything you need for a family vacation or a quick weekend of golf. The home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a cozy living room and modern kitchen. Outside you will enjoy the spacious 1 acre lot site with over 120' of waterfront in a beautiful protected cove. There is a dock with a private guest slip (10' x 24'). Enjoy the large covered deck with outdoor dining, grill and 8-person hot tub.

A 4-person golf cart is provided complimentary during your stay to access all that Monkey Island and Shangri La have to offer. Many restaurants are accessible by golf cart including many popular ones at Shangri La resort.

Master Bedroom has a king bed and ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and ensuite shared bathroom.
Bedroom 3 has a queen bed with an additional twin loft bunk and ensuite shared bathroom.
The living room couch is a large sectional which is both new, comfortable and extremely large.
The kitchen includes all of the basics one might need for the trip.
Filled additional propane tanks are stored in our garage.
40W fast charging outlet is provided in our garage for guests with an electric car. This charger generally provides a full charge overnight (7-12 hours depending on the vehicle in general). This is a Nema 14-50 receptacle which is 240V - 50A.

Check-in time is 4PM and checkout time is 11AM.

Larger boat slips are available for rent at the Landings or Shangri La Marina. The Shangri La Marina has a company that rents both PWC, ski boats and pontoon boats www.sailgrand.com. They also have a 60'+ Bluewater yacht which is available for 4 hour cruises for special events and large groups.

If you are new to Monkey Island at Grand Lake, the area is home to the Shangri La Resort and Golf Club. Amenities include the 27-hole golf course, 18-hole Battlefield Par-3 course, multiple fine and casual dining options, The Anchor - a large family recreational center with indoor / outdoor sports & games complete with a sports bar + kitchen. The Shangri La Marina is a full-service marina (including boat and PWC rentals).

This property is located near the tip of Monkey Island on a small quiet cove. Not only will you enjoy all the activities of staying in a fine home on the water but also the comforts and activities of this resort community. Whether you want to catch the game while sipping a cold beer overlooking the water at Eddies, head out for a night of live music on the decks at Shebangs, or hit a round of golf while the children sleep in, our home provides comforts that many have not experienced before during a lake vacation. We know you will enjoy.

My wife and I stayed at the lake house, it was amazing. Our host Josh connected with us very promptly every time we reached out, he was great. I’m not sure the pictures on the net describe what an awesome this property is.The view is amazing, I enjoyed fishing from the dock where I caught several nice fish. We stay in this type property often and have never seen won so well stocked, with everything you could possibly need. Very nice golf cart, with great access to many miles of trails, and Avery nice hot tube. We were here in October and it was very peaceful. I will definitely stay here again.

Loved the house…great windows. The drain in the connecting bedrooms was very slow , as well as the bath tub. No light in 3rd bedroom Sound on TV in living room was very low & could not adjust itVery disappointed in lake view with that huge, ugly 2 story dock! Wish soap had been provided in each shower.

A bit of a rocky start

We were granted an early check in and when we did go in early the alarm was set off and the house wasnt cleaned at all. We left and came back 4 hours later to find the house kind of cleaned with towels and sheets in the washer and dryer still, dishes dirty in the dishwasher and no toilet paper, paper towels or clean towels in the bathrooms. Once we got this resolved we had a 3 night stay and Monday morning we got up and set the alarm off at 6am and the cops showed up as we could not get ahold of the owner.. All in all not the best experience.

Great lakeside home

Loved our stay! Great location on monkey island! We enjoyed the spacious patio and floating in water off of dock. Kitchen had everything needed. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Great Bachelorette Weekend

We had 7 girls stay for a bachelorette trip and had an absolute blast. The house had anything and everything you could need, access to golf cart, dock for our boat, and the host was very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice place.

4.5 out of 5 Overall a very nice and comfortable place. Soft beds with plenty of blankets and pillows. The house is well stocked with just about everything you need. There was some trash that wasn't cleaned up when we arrived. Also, the front porch and back deck could really use a wipe down or spray off. Completely covered in bug debris. Otherwise, a great place to stay. No real complaints.

Great location and space

The house was a perfect fit for my family. The layout with the large open concept was great. Our favorite thing was the huge living room windows overlooking the lake. The brand new grill showed up while we were there. It worked great and the communication with the owner about it was fantastic! The golf cart was awesome when we wanted to split ways and was only a 7 minute golf cart drive to Shangri-la! A couple things I didn’t like was not having blinds over the doors leading outside in the bedrooms, and the master bedroom didn’t have an accessible closet to hang our clothes. I also wish there was a kayak or paddle boat for the kids to play on but obviously that’s just a preference and the other items aren’t deal breakers. The house was well stocked on anything we needed and we loved the indoor and outdoor spaces. We’ll be back!

Great Place for whole family!

Wonderful house with all the amenities. Golf cart was handy to drive down to the marina and activities. Outside needs some clean up and new grill. Overall great place will stay again!

Perfect weekend get away

It was my husband’s birthday and my friends and I took my husband to celebrate his 70TH on the lake. We had a great time. The house was perfect. Fantastic location. The only negative is we wished we could have gotten the side by side to work. (That could have been on us….) Everything else was wonderful and everyone was so nice in the neighborhood and at the restaurants. We are excited to go back! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful place.

Perfect Monkey Island location

Stayed with 5 buddies on a golf trip. Everyone was comfortable. We loved the location and golf cart which allowed us to get everywhere we needed to go! The house is perfect for relaxing and the large table on the deck was great for us to be able to eat and recap the day. We will be back!

Great location, Beautiful views!

Great house! The golf cart was great to go down for dinner at The Anchor and let the kids play games. We docked our boat, and was in good condition. Kids liked the hot tub. Loved sitting in the outside chairs with the beautiful views!
