Horizon View at Glenelg Beach

This modern, fully self contained, 1 bedroom apartment, is just 250metres from the beach at Glenelg directly across from Colley Reserve. The uninterrupted views from the 11th floor balcony (just below the penthouse), take in the Holdfast Marina and the ocean to the horizon from where you can watch the spectacular sunsets over the sea. Glenelg is a popular tourist destination with beautiful white sandy, safe swimming beaches, a jetty, boutique shopping along Jetty Road, and a huge variety of restaurants, bars and cafe's. The Beach House entertainment hub for the kids, located next to Colley Reserve includes water slides, arcade games, mini golf and more. The City to Bay tram is located a 3 minute walk away on Jetty Road and will take you to the City.

Horizon View is a privately owned apartment and has all the facilities you need to enjoy a fully self contained holiday, but with so many restaurants, cafe's and bars at your doorstep, you won't have to cook a thing if you don't want to. It is located in Liberty Towers, a secure 12 story apartment building, and includes one secure undercover park, with secure key only access to the building, lifts and apartments.

Horizon View is fully air-conditioned, with dishwasher, oven, cooktop, full size fridge, washing machine and dryer. A 50" flat screen TV is located in the living area, plus a DVD player and speakers to play your music from. There is also a second TV in the bedroom. A hair dryer is included for your convenience. There is also free WiFi connection for our guests. All towels and linen for the comfy Queen size bed are provided. Also available as an option are towels and a set of linen for the Moran double fold out sofa bed that can sleep two children or one adult. Soft cosy bathrobes are also included for your comfort and convenience.

Start up provisions such as tea, coffee, (pod coffee machine), and sugar, to get you going.

Special events are a part of the Bay area at Glenelg, such as spectacular New Year's Eve party and fireworks, Jazz Festival, Beach Volleyball and much more. It is a vibrant, busy place in the summer months, and a little quieter in the winter, but there is always plenty to do.

Wonderful clean apartment on the 11th floor with amazing views of the beach and evening sunset! Great balcony to sit and have a quiet drink. Everything you need for a short or longer term stay in Glenelg as cafes, restaurants and Coles all within a few minutes walk.

A great apartment with a great view

This is a great place to stay with a nice view of the coast. The apartment is perfect for a couple looking to enjoy the area and comes with all the items you need. The Tram into the city is an easy walk away and there are many restaurants to choose from in the area. No need to rent a car but, if you have one, the parking spot is very easy to use.

Outstanding

Everything about our stay was excellent. The moment we walked in after 20 hours of traveling from Canada and saw the sun setting over the bay (looks like open ocean) we were very happy. Being on the 11th floor provides a sweeping view along the coastline, and over the top of the Oaks Hotel. The kitchen is well stocked. We cooked several dinners with the gas cooktop. There is a Nespresso coffee maker, teapot, sugar, and a small box of UHT milk in case you arrive late and need something for the morning. The queen size bed is comfortable and lots of bedding to suit your needs. Wifi worked well. Smart TV had a decent number of stations and apps for Netflix if you have an account. The balcony is spectacular. There are 4 high chairs and a high topmtable but we mostly used the comfy lounge chairs. After about 2pm the balcony was too scorching for us unti sun down. Dishwasher, washer, dryer all worked well. Location is unbeatable with beach, retaurants, parks all nearby and the tram to get to the CBD in 40 minutes.The unit is quiet. We never heard neighbours and street noise is not an issue. On the weekend you get occasional cars or motorcycles with loud exhausts but not that often and not very late.We didnt use the pool or fitness room. The pool is small and maybe good for children. The fitness room only has 2 or 3 cardio machines and no weights or resistance machines. Sharon is a great host and responded quickly when we had a question.I can’t think of any negatives.

Much needed rest and relaxation

Property was exactly as shown in photos. Great view and easy access to the apartment. Spotlessly clean with many thoughtful touches. Definitely recommend it to others.Tram and train near by to transport you to the centre of Adelaide.

Great Accommodation with Outstanding View

A really nice apartment, well maintained, clean and with a view stretching for miles up and down the coast. My wife and I always stay in Glenelg when in Adelaide, it has such a vibrant atmosphere and a huge choice of dining while still being reasonably close to the city.

Horizon views says it all

Apartment in the sky glenelg

This was our second visit and I can honestly say our stay was amazing. The building is huge but quiet and kept in perfect order, always clean and tidy especially the lifts and car park. The apartment is so very comfortable with a beautiful bed and facilities. We hope to visit the area again soon

Great location and well set up apartment

The apartment is well located in Glenelg. Short walk to city team. Plenty of places to eat and walk. Having secure car parking was a great help. It had everything we needed and TV plenty of channels. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Horizon View Glenleg!

Perfect beach getaway! Loved the beautiful views, watching the sunsets which were amazing! Apartment was stocked with everything you need.. walking distance to lots of shops and eateries &. 2 minute walk to the beach! We would definitely stay again!
