"We were a family of 3 and stayed in the bigger apartment. It was a wonderful, everything was brand new and clean, the pull out couch was made up for the night for my son, and we especially enjoyed the quiet, but yet very centrally located area in Riga. There are a few very good restaurants just around the corners from the aparthotel, better than the famed Milda Restaurant ( don’t waste your time going there). Overall, I would highly recommend booking a stay at the Carillon."

"Apartment Nr. 17 Aus dem Badezimmer strömte durchgehend ein unangenehmer Geruch und die Fugen in der Dusche waren schimmelig. Beides ist meines Erachtens auf die fehlende bzw. defekte Abluft im Bad zurückzuführen. Auch im Rest des Apartments fand sich - vor allem in den Ecken - viel Schmutz und immer wieder allerlei Haare. Das Überbett und der Matratzenbezug waren sauber, aber darunter fanden sich ebenfalls viele Haare und Schmutz. Ich habe mich den gesamten Aufenthalt über nicht wirklich wohl...

"All great, except the bed was so wide we had to clamber on from the end, no room to enter from the side. Good location, close to the Old Town, though still reasonably quiet. Rooms clean, staff very helpful."

"Gutes Appartment in einer top Lage. Bahnhof, Altstadt und Markthallen fußläufig zu erreichen. Ideal, um für ein paar Tage die Stadt zu erkunden. Mir wurden nach meinem Aufenthalt nochmals nachträglich Geld abgezogen, von denen ich nicht wusste, was der Grund hierfür ist. Das war der einige Makel an dieser Unterkunft."

"Offered refund not via Expedia account but asked to provide my card details which is illegal. Refund was for broken shower which prevented to have it. No dishwashing liquid despite sponge and cooking facilities provided. Dirty mug, which obviously was there for a while. No hairdryer. This was my mistake to book here! Do not recommend"

"The host Margot’s is a very friendly guy. He was also very helpful in assisting me to find transportation to the apartment. The apartment has the feeling of home. It was wonderful to wake up to the singing of birds in the morning even though I am in the heart of the city. The bed was extremely comfortable which made me sleep very well during my entire stay. Shopping, dining and historical monuments are all within walking distance. The entire city is accessible through an efficient public transit...
