Waterfront apartment with garden and wide sea view

Located on the ground floor of a waterfront villa in the hamlet of Pozzillo, Casa Busà boasts a private garden bordering the lava rocks and the sea. From here the view of the sea and the coastline from Pozzillo to Taormina and even Calabria in the distance is simply outstanding.

During your holiday you will be just a stone's throw from the sea and you can take a dip whenever you want, as if it were your own private salt pool. In summer (generally between 15 June and 15 September) ladders are installed on the lava rocks to facilitate the access to the water.

The apartement is located at the end of a private road where you can park, just 500 meters from the center of Pozzillo. This fishing village with a small shop is a quiet and strategic place, halfway between Catania and Taormina, from which to start discovering Eastern Sicily and Mount Etna. Wireless internet is available and included in the price.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

A car and/or an electric bike is required. You can rent a car at the airport and Roberto can help you with renting an electric bike.
Two streets away from the house (via Carammone 30) there is a grocery store that sells bread, fish and fresh eggs.
The price includes one set of linen and bathroom towels per person and the final cleaning.

Between Etna and the sea

Excellent base for visiting coast and Etna area. Very helpful and knowledgeable hosts who lived adjacent but not obtrusive.We arrived earlier than anticipated but were unable to contact the host, perhaps our fault. A microwave would have been useful, but otherwise well equipped and as described.Local newly opened cafe owner and staff were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to be hospitable - il Gatto Pescatore.Would thoroughly recommend

Quiet location

The house is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood which we appreciated very much. Host Roberto is helpful and kind. There was a problem with the electricity and he fixed it immediately.

Beautiful, confortable and cosy

big and nice flat with beautiful view on the sea! The 2 bathrooms are great and the kitchen fully équipes. Very friendly and helpful owners. We felt very good and relax there! 5 stars for that great accomodation 👍🏼

Traumlage in Sizilien

Geräumige Ferienwohnung mit Platz für die ganze Familie. Roberto und seine Familie haben uns warmherzig empfangen und betreut. Zum Einstand gab es sogar 2 Flaschen Wein als Geschenk. Das Haus liegt direkt am Meer und es gibt einen festen Zugang mit Treppe in unmittelbarer Nähe. So konnten wir jeden Morgen unsere Runden im Meer schwimmen. Als besonderes Naturschauspiel konnten wir einen Ausbruch des Ätnas mit erleben. Durch die Entfernung allerdings ungefährlich für uns. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt.

Die Fewo ist traumhaft gelegen und für einen ruhigen Urlaub gut geeignet. Leider gibt es im Ort keine Möglichkeiten, abends etwas essen oder trinken zu gehen. Kleiner Laden in unmittelbarer Entfernung. Gaststätten und Supermärkte ca. 5 km entfernt. Sat TV nicht vorhanden - nur italienische Programme. Zugang zum Meer abenteuerlich (Leiter fehlt) Leider hat uns die Vermietungsagentur vor Anreise nicht mitgeteilt, dass das Objekt unter Nr. 34 i zu finden ist und wie der Vermieter heißt. Das hätte uns 45 Minuten Suche erspart.

De woning ligt rustig en heeft een fantastisch uitzicht.

De woning heeft 2 ruime slaapkamers met plafondventilatoren; parkeerplek binnen het terrein met automatisch hek; lekkere bedden; 2 badkamertjes met heel krappe douchecabines die gecompenseerd worden met een ruime douche in een romantisch buiten'hokje' met uitzicht op zee. Dat uitzicht is sowieso de grote aantrekker. Je kunt met een paadjes en een klein laddertje afdalen tot in de zee. Alleen een goed werkend koffiezeeapparaatje zou fijn geweest zijn. Pozzillo is totaal niet toeristisch en authentiek Italiaans. We zouden zo weer gaan.

Traumhafte Lage

Die Wohnung ist schön geräumig. Zwar etwas älter, aber sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der tägliche Blick auf das offene Meer ist unbezahlbar. Es führt ein direkter Weg zum Meer, wo man planschen kann. Die Besitzer des Hauses sind sehr freundlich und man kann sie jederzeit ansprechen. Der Ort ist 45Auto min vom Flughafen Catania entfernt, außerdem erreicht man umliegende Ausflugsziele in nicht allzu langer Zeit.

Perfekte Lage.

Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer. 30 Meter bis zum kristallklaren Wasser. Die Ferienwohnung bietet beste Bedingungen für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Die zentrale Lage an der Ostküste erlaubt Ausflüge nach Taormina, Syrakus oder zum Etna mit überschaubaren Fahrzeiten. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist stimmig und für Urlaubsansprüche vollkommen ausreichend. Verständigung mit den Vermietern (bei der Übergabe und bei Informationsbedarf) klappt auf Englisch sehr gut. Praktisch: In fußläufiger Nähe gibt es eine kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeit.

Fantastisk smuk beliggenhed med en skøn have hvor der er udsigt til havet.

En dejlig ferie hvor vi fik en masse oplevelser. Det kræver en bil grundet der intet offentligt transport er og skal man handle ind er der kun en lille købmand som har et begrænset udvalg. Lejligheden/huset ligger fantastisk lige ned til havet med en flot udsigt.

Tolle Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber. Die Vermieter welche im Haus wohnen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war auch kein Problem dass wir erst nach Mitternacht eintrafen! Das Auto konnten wir im gesicherten Innenhof parken. Den kleinen Shop von Mariella, der nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt ist und mit allem nötigen bestückt ist, benutzten wir täglich. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft, die Lage ruhig. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um das Gebiet um den Etna anzuschauen bzw. auch für Wanderungen. Das Meer welches in 3 Minuten über den kleinen Fussweg erreichbar ist war sehr sauber. Dort auch gut geeignet zum schnorcheln. Danke Milena und Roberto!

Private access to the sea side, magnificent view

Wonderful location, in between Taormina, Catania and Syrcuse. You have pretty much an private access to a crystal blue water and a nice house with a unforgettable garden, where I use to watch the sky and stars. You have everything inside the house and Roberto and Micena , and Lucca (and Serafina + Milka, the cats) are very helpful. Nothing more to add, was perfect.

Mukava loma mukavassa paikassa

Vuokraaminen oli sujuvaa ja kaikkiin kysymyksiin saimme vastaukset. Oleskelu oli mieluisaa mukavissa olosuhteissa. Kaikki yksityiskohdat takasivat viihtyisän loman. Ainoa pikkuasia jota jäimme kaipaamaan oli kunnollinen leipäveitsi.

Nice clean apartment overlooking the sea but you do need a car.Shops and restaurants a long way away

Unfortunately the weather was not kind the week we stayed. Biblical rain, fog and cold;. so we could not take advantage of the garden.We were two older ladies who had decided to hire a car. My American friend did all the driving and found it quite stressful…...Sicilians seem to skip lights ...double park and generally scare the hell out of you. I am sure a younger person may find driving easier. Our two highlights of the week were going to Taormina, which is beautiful, and seeing a friend who lived in the centre of Sicily in Caltanissetta.Would we return? probably not unless we had a driver, a tour guide and hopefully sunny weather.
