It looks like the entire interior of the hotel has been recently renovated, with new carpeting, fresh paint, updated flooring, comfortable beds, new linens, and modern furniture throughout. Everything felt clean and well-maintained. My only complaint was that I was staying in a room at the back of the hotel, and on the second night my key card stopped working. I had to walk all the way around the building in the dark to the front entrance to have it...

"The Holiday Inn in Ruckersville is farther outside of Charlottesville than I would normally stay when visiting that city, but was necessary due to a concert causing all the rooms closer in to be booked. It was convenient to the main route into the city on 29, provided a very clean room and acceptable breakfast. The pool was outdoor and so not yet open at the time I visited."

"This was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. It was extremely clean! The free breakfast had many choices and the staff was available for help. The rooms were very spacious with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop and microwave. There were plates, glasses and silverware. They even left a minature bottle of dishsoap and a scrub mommy to clean the dishes! I highly recommend this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and we loved staying there!"

"Just ok. Upon arrival we discovered fingernail clippings on the bathroom sink, dust & hair inside the dresser, mold in the bathroom, couch was falling apart, had a strange odor. House keeping didn’t come at all during our stay, even after I requested a clean. The maintenance man knocked on the door and then automatically entered while we were inside the room- which is a safety concern especially when traveling solo with two kid, the dishes in the cabinet had food stuck on them, a pregnancy test...

"The property, staff and facility was excellent. We were only disappointed with no ice machine being available. We did have an automatic ice marker in the refrigerator in our room but was slow and were really wanting to relax with a small drink before retiring for the evening. A small inconvenience when everything else was so very nice."
