Cuna, cuna de viaje y trona. Jardín cerrado con zona de estar y muebles de jardín. 2 acres de terreno (compartido). Parking privado para 2 coches. No Fumar.. Situada en los terrenos del espectacular castillo de Menzies, del siglo XVI, esta magnífica casa de campo de piedra ofrece amplias habitaciones de vacaciones, vistas espectaculares al castillo y acceso privado al jardín amurallado del castillo. Decorado con buen gusto, es ideal para explorar Perthshire. El castillo Menzies se encuentra al norte del río Tay en Weem, cerca de Aberfeldy. Hay muchas actividades que incluyen senderos para caminatas y ciclismo, paseos a caballo, deportes acuáticos en Loch Tay, pesca y golf como Gleneagles, a poca distancia en automóvil. Edimburgo y Perth son accesibles en coche. Tiendas 2 millas, pub y restaurante 1½ millas.

Family of four stayed here for a week in July 2019.

Family of four stayed here for a week in July 2019. Lovely location overlooking the castle. The house is of it's period. It has been modernised where necessary but retains many original features. There is a knack to using the AGA but the fireplace and woodburning stove don't need a user manual! Good supply of logs and an invitation to help ourselves to more - but it was too hot to bother. WiFi good except for one corner of lounge, plenty hot water, comfortable kitchen and lounge. Only one mile from Aberfeldy and the Weem hotel is a ten minute walk for a pint of Real Ale. Owner very friendly and arrival/departure very easy. We would stay here again. Criticisms? Well it is overhung by rhododendrons and climbing ivy so can be dim in the kitchen and bedrooms. Nothing a few new lightbulbs and a prune can't fix. BBC1 and 2 didn't work on the Freeview telly but are fine on iPlayer. A few more big mugs would be nice.
