Although we didn’t get to spend a ton of time there, the view and calmness of having coffee on the screened in porch watching the water flow and the squirrels chase each other up trees was exactly what I needed. The house was spotless and offered everything that we needed."

We did not stay at this property, "Songbird" because the owner claimed that it had on-going construction issues. However, our VRBO contact, Jessi, provided an equally nice place within a day's notice for the same price, "Blues Brothers Hideaway". That is the property I am reviewing here.For the two of us (seniors), there was an abundance of room. We were really looking forward to a lake house...

"Very private location at the end of a dead end. I wiped out the fridge and sink because it was alittle dirty. There was dirt on the bottom bunk from whoever made the bed stepped there so we just dusted it off. We just needed a place to sleep before riding the ohv trails the next morning, so it was perfect for that. We couldnt figure out how to keep both ACs on but that was fine as well. Overall the property was beautiful. Would've loved to sit out on the porch to drink a cup of coffee but we...

"The house was great! We had 10 adults and 3 children stay and there was plenty of room! The dock was large enough to fit all of us. We would definitely stay again for sure!! The owner reached out to us a couple of times to check if everything was ok. "

"The place is very clean and we loved the view. Our family had a blast celebrating my daughter’s graduation from Lander U. We don’t have any complaints but others may have issue with the beds. It does need an upgrade. It had everything we needed from laundry soap to extra beddings. "

"Very quiet 3 bedroom 2 bath on the lake. Huge vovered dock with secoond floor sunbathing area. Saw a couple of deer walking through the yard and the peninsula its on. Right on the Savannah river. Host very helpful and friendly. We will go back."

"Our family of 5 enjoyed this lake house for a quick getaway to a family graduation in the area. The lake views were very relaxing and the house had everything that we needed. The kids had a great time using the kayaks. Location was very convenient to the surrounding area."
