"Better than expected and great value. Hotel staff were wonderful, pleasant and helpful. Not stuffy at all. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Great dining service. Purchase breakfast along with your stay....it's delicious and plentiful. Great spa, saunas, pool and infinity pool, but book massage, etc., well in advance. Do try the kayaking with Noel, and do take the nature and sky walks with Vincent. "

"If you get a river view room you’re in luck! What a beautiful place Bantry was. Nice and quiet with some great pubs! "

"Beautifully restored 1790 hotel. Room was very comfortable. There is a pub and a restaurant in the hotel. The staff was great. Excellent location!"

"Loved it here. Everyone was delightful. Could not recommend the Sky Garden Walk and experience more- it should be mandatory! Paul was the perfect guide on this walk. He understands how nature is in line with life and explains the artist’s intentions with Sky Garden’s breathtaking view."

"It is an old hotel but well kept. The rooms had coffee and tea. It was warm but we just opened the window. The workers are all very friendly and helpful."

"Very beautiful property. Rooms were clean and cozy. Dinner was delicious with a beautiful view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"Mary runs and owns this place for more than 20 years. She has perfected the service and art of the business. I got an email message regarding directions to get there. She greeted us at the door with a very warm and welcoming feeling. Our room was clean and the breakfast was superb! The home is well maintained with wonderful flowers outside. Kenmare was just a 10 min walk away where you can find bars and restaurants. This is an awesome highly recommended place!"
