"The staff were amazing. The room was spotless, comfortable and had lots of lovely extras like bottled water, a selection of beverages, and there was even a little radio playing jazz music when we arrived in the room! It was lovely. The breakfast was great and the position of the hotel is brilliant for access to the castle and the town itself. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again."

"Initially had a room with difficult access for my disabled husband but they managed to move us to a more accessible room with good amenities for him. "

"Lovely place although lift broke down but breakfast and staff were amazing and location excellent. Only downside was trying to park and took an hour to find a space over a mile away, but Hotel can’t help that. Nice touch with a doggy sausage for breakfast and pennies to play slot machines and roll back the years!"

"Had a really pleasant stay at Gwydyr Hotel. The hotel is charming, well-maintained, and very comfortable, with spotless rooms and a cosy atmosphere. Service was warm and attentive, and breakfast was delicious. Just a small note that there’s no lift, but staff were helpful and everything else more than made up for it. Would happily stay again and recommend it."
