"Very impressive large property. The person at check-in was fantastic. It is not close to downtown, but not a negative if you are aware of that. Large enough resort that you would not have to leave the property. Loved the hourly free shuttle to down town. Appreciated the free self parking (close to resort entry), as we had just paid $80/night for parking at our previous hotel. "

"We arrived at 9pm and staff was quick and friendly we asked if we could check out a half hour later because we had a walking tour and she kindly said no. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean and air condition worked great. Breakfast was good and quick so we could be on our way. This is an old town Inn…. So don’t expect the super fancy ritz…. It’s historic and lovely spot with walking distance to everything. "

"The amenities were outstanding! Free breakfast of your menu choice and choice of delivery to your room, the atrium, or the rooftop terrace at the time requested. Wine and hors devours at 5:00, and warm cookies and milk at 9:00. Location was excellent with no need for a car. Beds were very comfortable and the room spacious! Highly recommend!!"

"The staff was the best part about my stay. Quite honestly, I was somewhat disappointed in the cleanliness of my room. The door my room had dirt marks all over it near where the key card is used. The walls in the room had some dirt on them as well. The bathroom was very clean, however. The beds were amazing! I loved the quietness of the room. The hotel does offer a lot of options such as the champagne on arrival and the wine in the afternoons and the cookies at night, but it would be nice...

"This place is WONDERFUL! Perfect location for the market, catching a horse carriage ride, lots of restaurants, couple of blocks to waterfront. BUT, the Loutrel is impeccable! From the moment you walk in the door, smiling faces. Our room was so so very clean, modern, with great turndown service we didn’t even have to ask for! Bar has happy hour🍷Refreshing drinks are there to welcome you in. The people who work here are SO eager to help and do it with a smile! Thanks for a Very Pleasant surprise...
