"Good hotel, limited food options"

"Really great stay at Monteverde Lodge. The staff was friendly and courteous and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. It is a wilderness hotel with eco friendly policies and forest trails directly on the property. Breakfast was included and came with an excellent fresh fruit plate, toast and a freshly made marmalade. "

"We loved the private hot tub, the stocked refrigerator, free wine. Room was beautiful, outdoor and indoor showers! Close to restaurants and shopping. Superbowl party in English. Great restaurant at hotel. Nice buffet breakfast."

"The room was spotless. The staff were very kind and interested in making our experience the best it could be. The breakfast was delicious and we could see monkeys in the trees while having our morning coffee. The view from the room was a bit obscured but we were so close to the beach it didn't matter. Great to have deals at local restaurants as well. We had a great stay!"
