"We really enjoyed our stay. Great customer service from every staff member we interacted with. We loved having access to the beach nearby. Happy hour every afternoon by the pool. Lots of wildlife just at our balcony, including sloths, toucans, and monkeys. We loved the stunning ocean view! Decent breakfast buffet included. We had dinner once on site which was ok. Enjoyed my massage. Johnny was great in helping us book our excursion. "

"Beautiful Hotel. Excellent service! Parked and immediately greeted by the host who called a shuttle to take us up to the lobby. On the way we stopped to see a sloth in the trees as well as a pair of macaws. They took our luggage and guided us into the restaurant with amazing views. They had pre prepared cocktails for us, a eucalyptus wet towel, and went over their amenities and services they provide. The room was very spacious, clean, incredibly comfortable .pool was great. "We had good time gloria took us for lapas lapario tour which was good experience and we had to move our last night from barcelo tambor a barcelo san jose.. we got helped by staff name Juvenal ortiz roman an abigail from front office.. and it saved our flight from missing.. it was great experience..it was our 3rd stay in 3rd country with Bercelo hotels. Suggestions more options in vegetarian and other food options would be nice.."

"Such a unique, serene experience. The entire staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The hotel had so many activities within itself it felt like we didn’t have enough time there!! Our favorite part was definitely the farm to table food experience. Every drink and dish was exquisite. We really appreciated this hotel’s keen attention to detail and the thoughtfulness in everything they do!!"

"Perfect location to get away from all the stress. Carla the manager/ owner was very helpful as were all the staff. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Large rooms and breakfast to order. Wonderful. "

"We spent two nights in Ficus. Notable- The young lady working the front desk with long, dark hair and the wait staff in the restaurant at night. Both were super friendly and went out of their way to be fun and welcoming! Room- very clean and all the things worked well! Breakfast buffet- Excellent! Other food was good...except the pizza. A bit undercooked. Stick with local cuisine. The area is very hilly- expect to walk up hills. Shopping is a bit a way from everything. Tours- a very limited...

"Excelente atención desde el front desk hasta la atención en el restaurante. Se nos recibió muy bien. Los chicos del desayuno fueron super amables. El Gerente siempre estuvo muy atento y muy servicial. Incluso el personal de la noche brinda del front desk brindaba excelentes recomendaciones de restaurantes en la zona.
