"Great hotel, clean and spacious room, and very friendly staff. Helpful front desk crew and easy to communicate with front desk in English. Short walk to beach and close distance to shops downtown and old town area. Easy access to bus stations (we took the bus to old town when we didn’t want to walk). Quiet neighborhood, and very safe. Great value for cost. Would stay here again, and would highly recommend it to other families."

"The Barceló Costa Vasca is my go-to hotel in San Sebastián. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, it’s just a 5-minute walk from La Concha Beach (Kontxa Hondartza) and around 10 minutes by bus to the Old Town, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. "Whilst the hotel is reasonably smart it’s overpriced in my opinion. Pillows are poor, rooms small and it was very noisy so poor sleep quality. Roof top pool has very few sunbeds and we found it impossible to get a space so this amenity was not available. Staff were pleasant."
