"Alex at the front desk was amazing at our check-in! He hooked us up with a great room with a view of the ocean, gave us a free dessert VIP card for the restaurant attached to the hotel, and had a great rapport. The room was clean and was close to the boardwalk. Great stay!"

"First of all, the staff were fantastic. However, we were deeply disappointed with the state of our room. It reeked of mold, the carpet was damp and the light near the bathroom flickered when on. The air conditioner was super loud and only operated at one speed. Wi-do was spotty at best. We had a first floor room near the pool and random people kept sitting on our patio furniture. There’s no way you could keep the curtain open, however, the lighting was so terrible that you needed the curtains...

"It’s a surfer motel. No amenities, ugly rooms, no air conditioning. Pacific Beach is a pleasant spot with nice cool weather. This place is budget, only acceptable if you only come back to sleep. Bottom line is that I recommend it if you’re looking for the cheapest lodging in Pacific Beach and everything else here is crazy expensive now. Convenient, park right outside your room. It’s acceptable, don’t expect to like this motel."
