The shower area is a little bit quirky since there is no way to prevent the water from overflowing into the rest of the bathroom. "The room we had simply was not as advertised. The photos & description show a second or third floor unit with a private balcony and a large bedroom, we were put in a ground floor unit where the “private terrace” is simply a slightly fenced off section of the patio space open to all guests. Shower was moldy and the room smelled mildewed. There is no check in or concierge—everything is communicated to you via an AI chatbot. No concierge means bags can only be stored in paid lockers on-site...

"What an exceptional hotel in the heart of the Ribiera district. Walking access to most of the Porto sites. We had an apartment on the 2nd floor that was totally quiet even though we were in a bustling river area. Hotel staff were helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was just what we needed for an active day of exploring this beautiful city. I highly recommend this hotel."
