The hotel felt safe and the beds were fine, and the location is great. Overall, it feels like good value for staying right on The Diamond, but Donegal is small enough that perhaps staying slightly away from the centre would be fine too."

"I hate to leave negative reviews on small business owners but think it would be terrible not to warn people about Woodhill. We used to go there years ago and I was excited to bring my adult kids there. Unfortunately the place has become extremely run down. The rooms are dirty, beds did not look too bad, but very old and small. My daughter found toothpaste and hair in her sink and the pipes nearly came of the wall when my husband tried to take a shower. Our son went to use the bathroom only to...
