However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. I walked everywhere I wanted to go (beaches, shops, restaurants, bus stops, train stations) and felt perfectly safe doing so. The breakfast was cooked to order and was absolutely perfect!
