"First stay and had a twin room. £44. The building and interior is quaint and quirky. To some extent it reminded me of my great nans house, with the old black round light switches and 'old' smell. Suits of armour, croquette set, tapestry rocker chair. The rooms had the heating on so lovely and warm on a chilly evening. Boiling hot water for a bath with complementary gel. Bed and pillows super comfortable. Fair size room. Asked for more tea as only 2 bags in the room. Really welcoming...

"Excellent good vulue for money A policy should be inforced for inconsiderate guests staying at the hotel who choose to smoke. This is not just inconsiderare for other guests who inhale unwanted 2 x smoke. But for the poor cleaning staff who are exposed to this irritant"

"Comfy and clean room. Great shower! Breakfast was ok, but the bacon was quite hard, sausages were tasteless and no scrambled egg. The breakfast staff were very busy and friendly but could have had 1 or 2 more staff assisting. Nevertheless, it was a nice stay! "
