"Loved my week long stay at Taveuni. I decided on this place for the grounds, accessibility to the ocean, and opportunity to interact with others. The plantation grounds were lovely. Rooms are variable - I recommend Bure 112 (upgraded) or 5. Haven’t seen many others. The restaurant was reliable - big meals in the evenings. Great omelet and pancakes. Try the road for the best roti, papaya and plantains or a fish meal for $1.50-$5 US. Kava and songs in the evenings. Lovely ladies in staff...

"Very friendly staff, it’s not luxury but average linen and towels were very dirty not washed properly specially when they use the White towels . Bathroom needs a good cleanup and toilet as well. Need a proper forced shower specially when Water force was very low. Needs some improvements. Overall, I will give 2 .5 star thank you"

"The beds are clean and no problem. The air conditioner is comfortable but doesn't come with a remote control, staff had to search for it and bring it for room. There was tea and coffee in the room but no kettle. The hot shower worked well enough. There were no windows in the room, but the shared balcony offered a nice view of the harber. 5mins walk from the bus stand. Supermarket and restaurants are located next door. The hot spring is a 3mins walk away."

"The moment we stepped on the beach in Waitatavi Bay we realized how fortunate we were to have found this magical place. Taking in the view of the sandy beach, to the crystal clear water & tropical fauna, it was amazing we got to enjoy this beautiful Bay all to ourselves. The Bure is nestled in the trees on the water edge with wall-to wall windows/doors with screens to keep bugs out. We slept to waves, woke to views, & snorkeled exploring the underwater topography. "Staying at this home stay was one of the most impactful experiences I had during my trip to Fiji. It gave me an intimate glimpse into what life in Fiji really looks like outside the resorts and luxury hotels. Communication was very warm and kind from the very beginning, even before I arrived. "This place is HORRIFIC. Everything is dirty, we were put into a windowless box in the middle of the building, the walls are paper thin, the rest of the tenants are horribly inconsiderate, blasting music late into the night, the only light was a harsh, uncovered fluorescent bulb screwed haphazardly into the ceiling, paint chips were flaking off in footlong lead based chunks, and plenty more that I don’t have the characters to describe. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"
