"We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. "It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. "Such a perfect location between Smoke hole caverns and Seneca Rocks! Walking distance to the famous Triangle Rock! Very spacious house. We LOVED having coffee and conversation in the breezeway. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable! We even got to meet our host, and he was most accommodating! Will stay here again! Book with confidence!"

"Perfect get away to find peace and recharge. Spent four nights at Lakota to escape the DC hustle and left refreshed. Bed was very comfortable as was the couch and outside furniture. Kitchen is well equipped. The cabin sits back from the main road and is obscured by trees from the road behind so plenty of privacy and quiet. The recently graded and smoothed access road is gravel which wasn't an issue with our SUV and we saw plenty of non-SUV vehicles going up and down (early September)....

"What a great cabin. We stayed with friends and kids and everyone fell in love with the cabin, the location, and the view!!! We did spend a good bit outdoors, arounf the cabin, on the porch, relaxing, kids loved exploring, they found fossils, forged for wood/kindling, rode bikes, went fishing, and visited Triangle Rock (pretty cool). Miss Sylvia was amazing and very accommodating. Loved communicating with her very easy to reach and quick in responding to any and all question and inquiries we had....
