The hosts were very accommodating and personable. Breakfast was delicious. Note: if you do not have a car, transportation could be tricky. Nearest restaurants are 20 minutes away by vehicle. Would stay again. Highly recommend Loch Eyre House!"

"All went well. My only critique is we had no idea how to get into the house upon arrival, or find the specific house. We were in a foreign country and this was our first house. Having an email sent saying "When you arrive the house looks like this and here is where to find it" would have helped. Also a note saying how to get into the house (We called the owner which took a long time to figure out how to do in a foreign country) and was told house was unlocked and key was inside. "The cabin was lovely, quaint and clean with a gorgeous view. Extra bonus it is surrounded by sheep! Cabin was well equipped with everything you need. Only complaint was the pillows could use an update, but that is a personal preference. If you are looking for a beautiful view, quiet and quaint location this is it. Also super close to Portree, only a 10 minutes drive away."

"The views from this tiny cabin were spectacular!!! My family of 4 were able to stay there comfortably for 2 nights, despite it being a tiny house. The hosts were great with communication, and helpful/available with any concerns. It is relatively secluded, but that is what we were hoping for. Would definitely go back and stay there again on my next trip to Scotland!"

Kristen and Gregor are perfect hosts, super friendly and helpful. There are lots of stunning walks and scenery to explore in Applecross Bay.
