"Whilst you could say the room was clean, it was in poor state of repair with flaking paint and shabby. The bathroom was in a very poor state with a large area of black mold above the window and around the bath. The bath edges were rusty as was around the bath drain. The sink unit was extremely shabby with swollen surfaces where water had soaked the MDF timber. The bathroom smelt badly and, on the whole, was unacceptable. "The apartment was clean and towels changed twice in the week, it seems to be halfway through being renovated and sofa bed old which let it down but it didn’t spoil our stay. It was very peaceful and we would return."

"No WiFi, we were given a code for the WiFi but could only connect very sporadically. The TV only had one channel, which if you like Big Bang Theory reruns would.ve ok. Or if we had WiFi we could have connected to our own Netflix etc. The shower (whichbwas nice and hot and powerful) flooded the whole bathroom, which has previously caused the bathroom door to swell, making it difficult to open/close. "This was a perfect place for me! The accommodation is really authentic and tastefully decorated! The surroundings are beautiful and easily reach other places (villages, mountains, beaches) by car or bike. Contact with the host was easy by WhatsApp, she did everything to make my stay comfortable and gave space to also go my own way. Very good shared bathroom and common room for eating, to be recommended!"

"There aren’t any shops nearby l think you should highlight this on your website. The supermarket is als a 30min walk away. The bus stop is also a 15 min walk away. MAAR House is in a remote location but it’s lovely and peaceful and the facilities are good. Ursula the owner is very friendly and helpful !"
