It is a true budget hotel, pretty basic and shared bathrooms, toilets etc. I only need a bed for the night and a base camp for my luggage on my visits to Sydney and the price is right for my needs. One of the last true bargain hotel deals left in Sydney. Ideal for the older travellers who are not keen on backpacker lodgings. It's nice to have a fully functional old style Sydney pub downstairs as well."

"The Hotel was a lovely restored and modernized classic Australian pub/hotel. The coffee/tea/biscuits in the Hotel commons were a treat. The beds were very comfortable. The Hotel staff were very accommodating and provided an extension cord since the outlets were not near the bed. All-in-all, a comfortable, clean, hotel with good service."

"It was in a very convenient spot within the Sydney CBD. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Vibes within the place were immaculate. The shared toilets were mostly clean. The laundry was also very easy and convenient to access. Great stay overall. Would consider booking again if I ever came back to Sydney."
