"The room was pleasant and clean, nothing special but fine for the price. There was a small balcony on the room but the sliding access door was noisy and difficult to use. We enjoyed the convenient walking access to downtown Victoria. One of the hotel clerks we dealt with was pleasant and accommodating, the other not so much. Parking was OK, a little challenging for a full-size crew cab pickup but manageable. I would stay there again on my next trip to Victoria."

"They had E bikes and kayaks for the use of guests. we didn't take advantage of that option. The "great room" was very roomy and served up a decent continal brerakfast. the"

"i have never stayed in a hostel before and was a bit anxious, but it was fine, not too loud or too busy. people were nice. i will go back."

"Great location and vintage esthetic. There was a slight mix up on the hotel's part where I had to check in to my room 30 minutes late. But they compensated for it very graciously."

"We spent 2 nights here the first of our trip and the end. We was very comfortable and the ocean views was great. Nice places to walk and you can walk up the street and go shopping. I will stay here again"

"Good Service "

"My family and I loved our stay here. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was very clean, cozy and it had everything we needed. Our room (G4) had two big windows which was so nice. We, especially our kids, were also pleasantly surprised to see a lot of fruit-bearing plants around the inn (grapes outside our window, apple trees, blackberry shrubs, etc.) Will definitely come back here on our next trip to Vancouver Island."

"This place is drop dead gorgeous. From the architecture to the surrounding landscaping and stunning ocean views (with beach access) this place is nothing short of paradise. And the peaceful quiet made it all the more lovely to enjoy. Comfortable bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud, warm and friendly staff. The most relaxing massage, my skin has never felt better. The hottub over looking the ocean, the gorgeous cedar barrel sauna, everything was clearly well thought out in terms of layout,...

"Excellent property, clean quiet & comfortable.The location & area is very good. Close to parks & rec centre. Also, there is ample parking. The host is a kind & helpful gentleman, made sure I was comfortable. I have to say, it is one of the best places I've stayed."

"We stayed for a long weekend. It was great to be right on the wharf! The food around us was great! Room was clean and easy to access. There was breakfast included at a local cafe which was scrumptious."

"Very convenient to downtown without the noise. Quiet neighbourhood that is 15 mins walk to centre of town."

"Slightly off the highway, so quiet. Close in driving distance to Butchart Gardens and Sidney. Simple breakfast satisfactory, microwave and fridge in the room. Would appreciate a teabag at breakfast. Curtains unevenly hung."
