" 5/5 Excellent This is a five star hotel if you want to experience late capitalism in the southern US. This hotel is conveniently located within a few hundred feet of I26, providing guests with the sounds and smells of constant interstate traffic. As i approached i was delayed somewhat as a school bus was offloading a group of elementary school aged children who live in the hotel, as well as the Extended Stay America hotel across the street. "The motel was in a lovely setting, oak trees with Spanish moss, a nice dock on the creek. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Several good restaurants close by, Prime Steakhouse, a little pricy but very good. Ciao Bella Italian great. We enjoyed our stay here."

"Typical wear and tear at chains such as Quality Inn but what was annoying was not being able to control the temperature of the water from the faucet for the sink. It was warm or hot but never cool or cold. The faucet for the bath tub was the same. Breakfast was nothing special. "
