"I needed a place to stay for a couple of hours and this location was perfect. The Intercity bus stop oblique opposite the hostel and the ferry terminal is next door. I booked the same day and the turn around response was exceptional and the self check in directions was easy to follow. The room was clean, the water power was strong and the kitchen was fully stock. "A really nice backpackers hostel. The rooms were well put together and warm during the winter. Lots of space in the kitchen and lounge and bathrooms are being renovated. Staff were really helpful and hospitable - I'd stay here again, for sure. One of the most comfortable places I have stayed on my trip through NZ."
