"The hotel is compact without extensive grounds to walk around in. It is located near a mall complex but do take advantage of the hotel's shuttle service to go to and from it. Although the shopping center and hotel are in a relatively safe area, scammers and pick-pockets are known to prey on tourists. But suffers from the usual lack of communication between staff as well as lack of visible genuine professional enthusiasm of staff who just seem to be going through the motions and who couldn’t care less about the guest experience. Breakfast is a joke and poorly executed with no quality checks. Nice menu but poor delivery. Also there is a chronic long edit for the lifts because the hotel had about 10 different side functions - speak easy, gym, offices, etc and...

"Hotel located minutes from the Rosebank Mall, Guatrain & Red Bus. Rooms are nice and spacious. Staff were nice as well. The breakfast is a little limited & could be warmer. I had an early tour and they prepared me a breakfast to go."

"My daughter and I were staying overnight in Johannesburg and chose to stay at Sunrock for the night. I loved it and my daughter loved this property even more! She prioritizes working out while traveling and they had a small area with gym equipment (I.e. weights, treadmill, etc.). It was such a fun atmosphere as well.
