Large apartment house "Dianthus", 5 storeys. In the district of Wiesti 650 m from the centre of Zermatt, in a quiet, sunny, elevated position on a slope. In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system. Motor access to 150 m from the house. 100 m stepped path (52 steps) to the house. Supermarket 450 m, restaurant 550 m, bakery 650 m, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Spiss" 150 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 650 m. Mountain railway 650 m, ski rental 650 m, ski bus stop 150 m, ski school 1 km, children's ski school 1 km. Please note: no lift. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt.
3-room apartment 83 m2 on 3rd floor. Spacious and bright, fully renovated in 2018, beautiful and modern furnishings: large living/dining room with dining nook, TV, hi-fi system and DVD. Exit to the balcony, south facing position. 1 double bedroom with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, combination microwave). Shower/WC. Heating. Parquet floors. Balcony, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Panoramic view of the Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Die Unterkunft beeindruckt auf den ersten Blick durch die Holzoptik im Eingangsbereich! Auch das Bad und die Küche sind modern. Allerdings ist der Esstisch sehr unpraktisch, da man mit den Knien an die Unterkonstruktion stößt! Auch können 4 Personen nicht gleichzeitig an der Couchgruppe Platz nehmen! Sehr bedauerlich war, dass während des Aufenthalts die Dusche nicht zügig ablief! Trotz Reklamation wurde kein Handwerker geschickt! Auch bei der Entschädigung wurde wir mit 39 mehr als enttäuscht.

Views are amazing and apartment was superb

We stayed in this property for four nights with three family members. Pro’s - the deck has a near perfect view of the Matterhorn when it is visible - The deck is large and roomy - the apartment is first class with plenty of room and great amenities - Interhome does a wonderful job communicating with us with any needs we may have had - Amazing view of the city of Zermatt and the surrounding valley - Con’s - After getting off the train it is quite a walk to the apartment. Mostly level along the river but still a bit of a jaunt - The description is correct and there are quite a few steps to get to the apartment - This was made clear to us in the description so was not a surprise to us but you need to be aware of this prior to lugging luggage - It is a bit of a walk to the downtown area and groceries. Again we knew this due to prior reviews and the clear expectations set in the site description. Would we stay here again? Based on the overall balance of pro’s and con’s we would stay here again. We just may be a bit more prepared on negotiating some of the con’s of the apartment but I gave it a 5 for a reason! It is a very nice place with plenty of room. If I was staying for just a night or two maybe something a bit closer to the train station or downtown but for us it was near perfect. Great place!
