The space
*** COVID-19 Cleaning Standards *** We are taking extra precaution to keep our guests and cleaning team safe. This includes:
• Resting period between bookings
• Extra care in cleaning surfaces (sinks, showers, toilets, door knobs/handles ) with disinfectant
• Washing all linens and towels and dishes with hot water
The Blue Cactus Ranch is the perfect place to retreat far from city light pollution and disconnect from daily live. You'll enjoy starry nights, hot tub, pool, BBQ, incredible sunset and sunrises, and a comfortable home to entertain. From upstairs you will have a 360 view of the desert, boulders and the Joshua trees.
The house is located above Joshua Tree village and sits on a 5 acres property that leave plenty of room to relax and appreciate the desert.
We have put a lot of effort and love into remodeling the house and hope you will like it as much as we do. The goal was to keep a desert vibe and feel that the ranch is well integrated into Joshua Tree’s ambiance.
Joshua trees are very important to us, please from climbing them as it will severely damage them
Compliance of our rules are important to keep to our property open and available to share. The rules are strictly enforced as hefty fines are associated with non compliance.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
DESERT LIVING: One of our favorite things about being in nature is the wildlife, so don't be surprised if you run into a few unexpected guests in the surrounding areas - you might see wild rabbits, coyotes, mice, beetles, snakes, and spiders. Keep in mind that the desert is their home and it's all part of the adventure.
WiFi: Please note that there is cellphone signal at the house and we offer WiFi so you can stay connected, if you want :)
PARKING: Please park in the designated areas on the left of the house.
SEPTIC: The house is on a septic system, please do not flush anything other than toilet paper.
EVENTS, PARTIES & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS:
Not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees.
Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house and property during your stay.
Guests can go on walks around the neighborhood being sure to stay on the maintained dirt roads/streets and not walking thru or on other neighboring properties.
We have “No tolerance” policy on these rules for trespassing neighbors properties, excessive noise, extra/undisclosed guests, or extra cars. Hefty fines and grounds for immediate eviction are associated with non compliance of any of these very important rules.
No refunds will be given if asked to leave for violation of any rules we provide. We say this because we can’t have the wrong guests thinking they can sneak in or get away with non compliance, we will lose the privilege to operate in our town, with hefty fines up to $10,000+ that will be passed on to the non complying guests. When booking this property your agreeing and acknowledging you are clear about these rules.
There is a $500 fee if local police are called to residence for any non emergency reason (i.e. disturbances, party/event complaints, ending a stay early).
