This family friendly desert bungalow is nestled in Joshua Trees and boasts beautiful views and cozy ambience. This modern design desert vibe boho bungalow is fully stocked for families with kids or a perfect couples' getaway.

We are located about 20 minutes from the Joshua Tree Visitors center and downtown shopping of Joshua Tree.

Owned by Aude and Gilles, a French couple and blessed parents of two young boys, who love design, travels and the desert. She, a French interior designer who loves finding pre-loved objects, DIY and re-purposing; him, a nature and mountain lover. Both wanted to give their kids freedom to play and experience nature in a unique, respectful and inspirational way and fell in love with this secluded 1944 desert bungalow on 3 acres yet conveniently located 3 minutes away from old town Yucca Valley.

Aude and Gilles have been coming to the desert for years and they've created this beautiful and convenient retreat for their family & friends and decided to share it with the world.

When they became new parents, traveling and finding baby friendly, uniquely mesmerizing getaway places and not a resort experience became a challenge.

The Bungalow du désert they created, provides a COZY & TRUE DESERT EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE including CONVENIENCE FOR FAMILIES & YOUNG PARENTS WITH BABIES.

They thought of everything and more that you’ll feel you don't have to leave the bungalow and yet will still have an amazing true experience of the desert.

Guests who stayed there have said the bungalow has many secrets and keeps on giving!

That is one of the reasons why they decided to share their peace of paradise with the world.

The bungalow is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom home that includes a King bed in one room and a Queen bed and 1 toddler bed in the other room. The house can accommodate up to 4 adults and a toddler and infants.

The TV has a Roku (there is no cable).

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessities including a coffee press & coffee maker.

In the yard you will find a large outdoor space to enjoy, including a table, couch, extra seating, fire-pit (propane) , outdoor Cuisinart Griddle (great for eggs, bacon, pancakes, burgers, pizza and more), cowboy pool (open seasonally) and hot tub.

The views are spectacular as you are surrounded by the beautiful desert. And there's a short hike right off the backyard that leads up to amazing views of the area.

If you have children, there are kids books and toys as well as board games!

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire house. Parking on the property!

Most convenient stores and restaurants are 5/10 minutes away.

Other things to note:

- Pets are not allowed.

- This home is for up to 4 adults and 1 child as there is a toddler bed available for 3-12 years of age. Infants/toddlers under 3 are also welcome.

- We have one Pack n Play, two high chairs, potty training seat and a step stool and much more. You will love not having to bring a lot from home!

Security Cameras: We have security cameras on the front of the house, which face out toward the driveway and front of the house only.
