Overall a bit disappointing. Upon arrival the car park entry and exit system was not working which caused issues. There were queues to check in. The room we had was always cold, with a broken unusable safe and a bed which had a large spring coming through the mattress. There was quite a bit of noise ...

Hampton by Hilton York Piccadilly
Clean modern room. Decent size. Breakfast was average.... average quality products, powdered eggs. Parking is the only issue. 5 minute walk and not cheap at £28 overnight. Not the hotels fault for that but youd think in this modern era they'd negotiate a better rate.

Malmaison York
We upgraded at reception to a suite and had a nice sized room. Clean but maybe a little dated now. The bed was very comfy though and very quiet. Everything we needed in the room as well. Delta Hotels by Marriott York
The room we had was dated but clean apart from some mould around the windows. There was a bit of a funny smell but it wasn’t overbearing. The pool was good and open late which was ideal.
