  • El alojamiento consta de 2 graneros convertidos independientes: The Red Barn y The Hay House. También hay instalaciones de ocio en forma de tenis de mesa, gimnasio y sauna.
    The Red Barn duerme (15) y The Hay House duerme (11). Las casas están en lados opuestos de un patio compartido, por lo que son vecinos pero independientes entre sí. Como tales, son adecuados para recibir un solo grupo de hasta (26) o dos grupos más pequeños que no se conocen entre sí.

    Cuarto dormitorio - cama doble + futón individual + cama individual - capacidad para 4 personas (techo bajo H 1. 6 m máximo).


    Entre los graneros convertidos hay una sala de fitness que contiene una mesa de ping-pong, una cinta de correr, una estación de pesas con múltiples gimnasios, 2 x bicicletas estáticas y una mesa de billar junior. Esta instalación está incluida en la tarifa.
    Al lado de la sala de fitness hay una sala de sauna que está incluida en las tarifas grupales de fin de semana y, de lo contrario, se puede reservar a £ 20 por una sesión de dos horas para (4) personas.
    El Granero Rojo tiene estacionamiento privado para (3) autos en la parte trasera y (1) espacio en la carretera en la parte delantera. Hay House tiene su propio parque para (6) autos en la parte trasera.
    Ambas casas tienen patios exteriores.

    Las instalaciones de lavado son amplias. Todas las (3) habitaciones en The Red Barn tienen baño privado y hay una ducha adicional en la planta baja. (1) dormitorio en The Hay House es en suite y también tiene otra ducha en la planta baja. La sala de sauna tiene su propia ducha que se puede poner a disposición de los ocupantes de The Hay House.     El Red Barn tiene un área de cocina / comedor especialmente grande y abierta con una gran mesa de comedor rectangular con capacidad para (14) personas.     La propiedad está ubicada en el pueblo de Tollerton en una calle tranquila. York está a quince minutos en coche. Los centros turísticos de la costa este de Scarborough, Whitby y Bridlington se encuentran a poco más de una hora. Los valles de Yorkshire están a una distancia similar en la dirección opuesta.

Brilliant place to stay, plenty to do in the home and lots of space for large groups to sit together. Host communicated well and provided clear check in instructions. Would definitely recommend.

We had an incredible stay at the red barn and hay house for mine and my partners joint pre wedding celebration with our friends. The place is lovely and so much nicer than in the pictures, we were thrilled when we arrived. The big kitchen and dining table in the red barn was perfect for us all having meals together and the outside furniture was lovely to sit around in as we were very lucky with the weather! The place was spotless and the hosts were so helpful.

We visited for the May Bank holiday. Excellent large property for our group of 23 (including 13 kids aged 5-15). Fun games room and large kitchen in red barn for gathering together for meals. Everything we needed was provided. Situated in a lovely village (with a well-stocked, independent village shop) with many beautiful places to visit nearby (we went to Fountains Abbey on a lovely sunny day).

Perfect accommodation for large group, lots of comfortable beds and plenty of showers and toilets. Spacious and clean communal areas and a nice outside seating area that gets sun most of the day. Really well stock, cutlery, pots, pans, glasses, cleaning equipment, we only needed to bring our food. Lots of entertainment on site as well. The owner was also very helpful.

We had a fantastic time at this property! The owners were incredibly helpful and the facilities and location were superb. Would highly recommend for a large group looking for a fun country escape!

Easter stay

Fabulous properties, comfortable surroundings and excellently stocked with everything you could need. Great walks and only 15 minutes drive into York. Great pub on the corner of the street….enjoyed by all!

Great weekend!

The house was really clean and spacious. The sauna was fantastic ! Comfy beds, great communication with owners. And the pub across the road was great for a few drinks.

Great property for large group

It was an easy place to stay, relaxed, with the owners very nearby. Large table seated 18 of us. Good kitchen facilities. Good games room. Very versatile properties.

Lovely family get together

We booked two barns to celebrate New Year and my retirement with family. It was a really large space for us all. We had a great stay. Only downside was the barns need a bit of updating. Otherwise perfect for us all.

We were a group of 18 at both barns and the accomodation was fantastic and exactly as advertised. Everything was provided and clean. Keys were very easy to find. Thank you so much!

Large family Christmas Gathering

A great weekend of 22 family members (aged 14 - 59) meeting to spend time and have fun together. Space easily accommodated us all although some couples had to share a bedroom which was okay for us but may not be okay for everyone. The barns were very warm and well furnished. The showers were hot and powerful and the towels were soft. There was nothing missing. We spent a lot of time sat around the large dining table - eating, chatting and craft making. Kitchen was clean and had everything you needed to cook. There was also a lovely large sitting area where we could enjoy family party games. A handy mini supermarket was walking distance and a short drive to the park and ride to York where we had a fantastic day out. All in all a great weekend. The in laws decided straight away they were going to book it again for their side of the family to enjoy for a different weekend away.

A beautiful place and great hosts

We had a wonderful time for my 50th birthday, hiring the hay house and red barn together. None of us wanted to leave. The property is in great condition, responsive and helpful hosts and a lovely location. Thanks Steve, we hope to visit again one day. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay for a Stag Do

18 of us stayed at the Red Barn and Hay House for a stag do, and it was the perfect accomodation for the occasion. Plenty of rooms, all clean and with comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchens and a games room and gym for great entertainment. Just 20 minutes into York by taxi but located in a quiet village means that you get all the benefits that York provides while still being able to get away from the noise of the city. There's also plenty of parking so it's easy to access by car. Communication from the owner was excellent, lots of really useful information and very quick responses. There are plenty of books and toys for children so it's also a great place to stay for large family get-togethers. I'd highly recommend Red Barn and Hay House for trip away near York.

Excellent facilities, lovely building and very helpful host. Had an awesome stag do. 10/10

Property was very well presented and easy to use. No complaints from anyone. Great base for exploring York and the surrounding countryside. All in all a fantastic stay for a stag do.

Family staycation

Lovely property, the photos don’t do it justice. The host Steve lives on the same grounds as the property who is very friendly and responds to text/emails very efficiently. We had a family staycation which included adults and children of varying ages and it suited all.
