York is 12 miles away, where you can tour the incredible York Minster, the National Railway Museum, and the Shambles Market, take a sightseeing boat cruise, and wander the city centre with its array of shops and places to eat and drink. The charming market towns of Helmsley, Thirsk, and Harrogate are all within 19 miles, while a drive of 20 miles will take you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Water Gardens.

The charming bungalow has been decorated in soft, coordinating colours and feels very welcoming. From the hallway, step into the cosy lounge, where you’ll find soft seating, a wood burner to take the chill off a winter’s evening, and a Smart TV ready for streaming your favourite shows. When you start to feel hungry, head into the pale and pretty kitchen, where everything is provided to help you whip up delicious meals, including a microwave. There’s also a breakfast bar for two: ideal for a morning coffee or a quick snack. The separate dining room includes a spacious table where everyone can gather, plus a pair of armchairs that take advantage of the view through the patio doors to the garden. At bedtime, find the three restful bedrooms, all with TVs and beautiful cotton linens. They share a family shower room with underfloor heating for toasty toes.

The wraparound garden includes a large patio with dining furniture and a BBQ, ideal for sunny days relaxing in the fresh air.
