Spacious Beach House

This house is a great size for a large group and had so many nice amenities, like a cart taking things to the beach and a desk for remote work. It is designed for a long stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. The location is perfect (between Long Sands Beach and Nubble Lighthouse). The property and landscaping were so pretty.

This is a great home for multi-family vacation in a walkable location. It was hard to tell from the listing, but there is an entire apartment above the garage that isn’t attached to the main home. That space has two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room.It was perfect for the grandparents to stay in while the families with kids stayed in the main house. We walked daily to the town from here, and it’s a short walk to the lighthouse, ice cream, and Little Auk! Absolutely gorgeous street.

Nubble's Nest

The house and apartment were perfect for our three families! It had everything we needed and we really appreciated the extra things like the baby gates and all of the beach equipment. The kitchens were also really well stocked too in terms of pots/pans/small appliances and utensils. Great location, it was really nice being able to walk to both beaches or the lighthouse and not have to worry about parking. We would definitely come back!

Exceeded Expectations

The property was in a great location and very nicely furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, cooking utensils and appliances. We loved the open floor plan in the main house and the heat pumps adequately cooled the space during hot days. Beds in the main house were very comfortable. We certainly would return in the future.

Great York Beach family vacation!

We have been renting places up in York for 20+ years. Our growing family needed more space and we were thrilled to find this home. We loved everything about it. Plenty of room for our family. We appreciated all the awesome amenities; well stocked kitchen, towels, beach chairs, wagons, beach bags, even sunscreen! We had a blast playing shuffle board and loved all the extras for the kiddos! Coming back after a hot day at the beach to AC to relax in made this such an enjoyable vacation! We can’t wait to come back!

This was a great house for a large group vacation in Maine. It has lots of space and thoughtful details, like carts for the beach, labeled light switches, and a desk for remote working. The property is so pretty, the driveway has plenty of room for parking, and the living space is very open with lots of seating. It’s a great location, between Long Sand Beach and Nubble Lighthouse, in York.However, booking through VRBO when the house is managed by Vacasa meant I was never sure who to contact with questions. VRBO did not have all of the information about the house and Vacasa’s main customer service was unhelpful with several issues. When I spoke with the local Vacasa people, they were able to answer questions and resolve issues, but there never seemed to be a way to contact Vacasa’s local team directly. It was a frustrating process that made the planning leading up to and questions during the stay more complicated than they needed to be.
