Bosc Urbà de Yalova

The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Great shower too! Location is excellent for visiting the sights in the Sultanahmet area, but a few steps away from the most crowded areas. I have one complaint: 3 days into our 4 day stay, they told us that breakfast is not included and we would have to pay for breakfast going forward. I showed them the confirmation from hotels.com clearly said "breakfast included"; they showed me the printout from their system that said "room only". I pointed out that it's their responsibility to ensure the information on hotels.com is accurate, not mine. They never apologized. Otherwise I had a great stay. One other note: the hotel is probably not suitable for people with accessibility needs. Entering requires going down a flight of stairs. After that their is an elevator, but it is extremely small.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Perfect location near everything (Sultanahmet, tube, tram, restaurants...). We had a really nice corner room with French balcony, nice to arrange the armchairs so you could sit, relax and enjoy watching the life outside in the evenings. The hotel is old and in need of renovation but that's totally acceptable as the price level reflects that. The shower cabin doors have a gap in the middle that causes some flooding on the bathroom floor. You have to find out a strategy on how to take a shower to avoid that. The light by the bathroom mirror was also very poor. The staff is friendly and helpful and the wifi was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very nice, Turkish style. However, the dining/breakfast room was really cold. Same applies to the small pool on the roof. This was end of August.
