In Playa Blanca, the vacation home Villa Jeamir I offers an excellent view of the sea.

The 2-storey property consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 4 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms as well as an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 8 people.

Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning in all the bedrooms, a washing machine as well as a smart TV with streaming services.

On top of that, a pool table is also provided for your enjoyment.

A baby cot and a high chair are also available.

The highlight of this accommodation is its private outdoor area with a pool, a whirlpool, a garden, an open terrace, a covered terrace, a balcony, a barbecue, and an outdoor shower. The pool is heated from October until April ( 24-25 degrees). Higher temperatures are possible for a fee.

A parking space is available on the property. Free parking is available on the street.

Pets are not allowed.

Wi-Fi is suitable for video calls.

There is an alarm with a camera in the living room that takes pictures only if the alarm is triggered.

Parties are strictly forbidden.

We loved everything about this property excluding the hot tub (more on that below).The house is clean, spacious, & conveniently located—(shortcut down an alley makes it only a 15-min walk into town) The kitchen is also well stocked with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & felt safe & comfortable.A special thanks to the property manager, Suzanne, who was polite & kindly allowed us to check-in a few hrs early.Major Issue: The Hot TubOur ONLY issue, and unfortunately the reason we would not return, is the hot tub. It should not be listed as part of the property; it is not safe for use & needs immediate attention.We contacted Suzanne to report the issue & she sent a maintenance person over. She later visited & confirmed that the hot tub lid was decomposing, with pieces falling into the water. That evening, we got in and clearly observed oil & dead skin in the water, prompting us to immediately get out.As a trained pool plant operator with my own hot tub, I inspected the unit:The filter was black & slimy (photos available), indicating it had not been cleaned in some time. Even after cleaning the filter and running the hot tub for an hour, there was no improvement. Crucially, the main pump is not working correctly, meaning no water is being pulled through the filter for sanitization. The bubble pump also does not work.The hot tub should be decommissioned immediately due to the serious risk of infection and potential Legionnaires' disease.

Tired property and some problems

The property itself was a bit tired. We had three storms during our stay and the roof leaked in at least three areas. The external mains plugs had broken covers and caused us to lose power on three occasions when the rain got into one causing us to throw away a whole fridge and freezer of food. Suzanne the Holidu representative was very proactive and helped us getting a temporary fix to the problem. It also advertised high speed broadband. It was slow and only covered part of the property.

Well appointed Villa in a good location, the amenities are in close proximity. Property manager is very nice and very keen to ensure your vacation is relaxing.

Villa holiday with friends

Communication with host prior to arrival was excellent and we received all the information we required for a smooth check in. The villa is exactly as it appears in the photographs on vrbo but we were disappointed to find there were only 3 bathrooms when the vrbo description states that there are 4 bathrooms. Four bathrooms was one of our requirements so it did cause a few problems as people had to share. We had no other issues with the property. The host Suzanne was excellent throughout, the was there if you needed her but didn’t intrude.

Holiday in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

We had a fantastic holiday in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. Villa Jeamir 1 is a stunning property. It was beautifully clean on arrival and the Villa Manager kindly arranged to get some shopping for us as we were due to arrive very late. Location of the villa is perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful promenade with all the shops, bars and restaurants. This villa has 2 floors. The first floor comprises 2 double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms and there is also a separate toilet on this floor. It has a very well equipped kitchen and utility room - everything we needed was supplied. There is also a dining room. The lower floor comprises 2 single bedrooms which share a bathroom. There is a very large lounge area with 2 sets of sofas, a pool table and a dart board - it is a very large, wonderful, airy space. The outside area is fantastic. A large dining table and chairs is situated under a covered terrace with a bbq and outside sink - we had breakfast, lunch and dinner here it is a lovely sociable space with a beautiful sea view. Down a few steps is the swimming pool area which is equally lovely. There are adequate sunbeds and 2 umbrellas, 1 is fixed to the floor. There is also a hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed using in the evenings. Suzanne, the villa Manager was amazing. She was incredibly helpful to us throughout our 2 week holiday. We had such a fantastic time and loved the villa and it's location.
