Clean and quiet hotel in a great location. Breakfast is awesome too.
Downstairs is the Zhubashi Night Market. Across the street are fruit shops, drink shops, restaurants and convenience stores.
Just down the street, just a block a way, is the Xi'an Drum Tower. Behind the Drum Tower, is the Beiyuanmen Night Market (Muslim Street/Muslim District), Xi'an biggest night market.
Within the meandering side streets of the Beiyuanmen Night Market is the Great Mosque of Xi'an.
The Xi'an Bell Tower is about 10 minutes walk away. The Xi'an Wall is about a 20 minutes walk.
It is a super convenient.
The hotel breakfast is solid. There is a chef station that will custom make you dumplings, noodles and eggs. While the Western fare is pretty basic, there is a huge variety of Chinese breakfast: White and millet porridge, chow mien, yiow tiew, pickles stirfried veggies (so good), baos, tea egg, soy milk, yogurt drinks and so much more.
There are a few down sides, but not enough to give it less than 5 stars.
There is no bar on the roof top, but you can still visit it. It offers a breathtaking view of Xi'an's skyline; especially at night.
The AC is not cold enough, but this is typical of climate control in Xi'an (even when you go to the fanciest malls). It's cooler than the outside, but not as cold as I was accustomed to in the U.S.
