"Great location less than a mile away from the M5 and off the main road. Wonderful guy on reception who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy. We decided to go into nearby Thornbury to grab something to eat. The bed was really comfy and we had our buffet breakfast in the Marco Pierre White restaurant in the hotel which kept us full for the drive home."

"Staff were lovely and happy to help. We got a free upgrade to a harbour view rooms Rooms were spacious. Quiet room. Bathroom was new but room was slightly outdated and had stains on the carpet. Overlap a good stay. "

"This is a lovely old building. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed is superb for a good nights sleep. Set just outside town, a short taxi ride in and out, it was very quiet and ample safe parking. The Dinner was very good (Belly pork) and you must try the garlic and cheese bread, it is huge like a pizza and far more than we expected. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they made our stay a memorable one. Thank you very much. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area."

"Lovely bar area and restaurant Staff were friendly. Be careful as rooms are outside of the hotel across the carpark with not great access. You have to walk across a muddy area to the rooms. The rooms do need updating but overall a pleasant stay."

"The parking is very easy, you just enter you car registration on a screen in reception. The guy at reception was very proficient and friendly. The room was small, basic but very clean and comfortable. There are shops around with 2 minutes, so like Waitrose, Lidl (actually underneath the hotel), Home Bargains and even a Weatherspoons! "Basic and easy for last minute stay as our train back to London was too late. Very basic but clean. Warning that windows don’t open. We paid “extra for window” that doesn’t even open. "
